Die Quantenmechanik hat sich in den letzten 50 Jahren von einer abstrakten Theorie zu einer technisch anwedungsorientierten Wissenschaft entwickelt. Wir besprechen die Grundlagen der Quantenmechanik auf Basis eines heuristischen Zugangs und versuchen eine Intuition für relevante Sachverhalte zu entwickeln. Je nach Publikum besprechen wir Fallbeispiele aus Biologie, Chemie oder Informatik und zeigen inwiefern quantenmechanische Effekte unseren Alltag beeinflussen.

Dieser Kurs ist für absolute Laien gedacht, man muss nichts über Quantenmechanik wissen. Wir besprechen individuell den Wissenstand und starten genau dort wo der Kursteilenhmer steht.

Ich bin auf Umwegen zur Physik gestoßen, habe aber schnell eine große Leidenschaft für die Wissenschaft entwickelt und bin seither Feuer und Flamme. Da ich selbst Quereinsteiger war und seit mehreren Jahren Nachhilfe gebe bin ich mit den meisten Problemen vertraut. Selbst wenn die mathematische Grundlagen mangelhaft sind, ist es gut möglich ein intuitives Verständnis von Physik aufzubauen und damit zu arbeiten.

Ich habe Freude daran Laien die wundersame Welt der Physik näher zu bringen und so entsteht eine angenehme Lernathmosphäre.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,

The TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.

De les is praktisch en stap-voor-stap opgebouwd, met duidelijke uitleg en gerichte oefenopgaven. Er is veel aandacht voor veelgemaakte fouten en examenvalkuilen, zodat je deze leert herkennen en vermijden.
