Hi! My name is Alice and I am a professional violinist based in Berlin.
I offer violin and viola lessons from beginner to advanced players and my goal is to foster a strong foundation while tailoring lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests.

I graduated with honors from the “Monteverdi” Conservatory in Italy and I hold a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, having studied with Prof. Lukas Hagen and Prof. Klara Flieder. I performed all over Europe and in South America with renowned ensembles such as Camerata Salzburg and Munich Chamber Orchestra.

I emphasize the development of solid technical skills while nurturing each student’s musical expression and creativity. Whether you are preparing for a performance or playing for personal enjoyment, I strive to make each lesson engaging and fulfilling, allowing students to progress at their own pace while enjoying the process.

I believe learning the violin (or the viola) should be both rewarding and enjoyable. My teaching combines a strong technical foundation with creativity and encouragement, so that students not only improve their playing but also develop confidence and a genuine love for music.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, personality, and goals — from playful, engaging activities for children to more focused, refined guidance for teens and adults. No matter where you start, I will support you in growing as a musician and discovering the joy of expressing yourself through the violin.

Professional Violin teacher holding a 15 years + Degree from Conservatory of Padua, Italy, with several years of experience teaching both in Europe and abroad. My methods include the preparatory works for AMEB examination, the Suzuki method, as well as my own method based on European Violin Syllabus and technical works (i.e. Curci). I teach students of all ages and levels, including adults. Parents are encouraged to attend their child's private lessons so that students can be supervised and encouraged when practicing at home. Able to teach in my apartment as well as coming to the student’s house.

After successfully completing his music studies (Music Bachelor), he won a grant from the Brazilian government and emigrated to the Netherlands to take up postgraduate studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn. He received his Masters in Solo Performance and Chamber Music with Honors. His diverse musical activities have taken him - both as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher - on concert tours to Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia.
Jadenir lived in Vienna from 2007 to 2016. There he performed between 2005 and 2010 as principal violist of the “Spirit of Europe” chamber orchestra, in which he was also a member of the artistic advisory board and was involved in planning-relevant decisions on artistic and organizational issues. He also played in the RSO Vienna and the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna.
Jadenir has lived and worked in Berlin since 2016. With chamber music as the center of his life, he founded several ensembles with different line-ups in 2017. In addition to his artistic activity, viola lessons have been an important part of his life for many years. As a viola teacher, he has been in close contact with music festivals and music schools since 2007, especially those that are dedicated to social projects.

About my viola lessons

I offer dynamic and playful lessons. The goal of my lessons is to break the barrier between music and technology, so these are not taught separately from each other. Rather, I see technology as the merging of movement, breathing and sound.
Beginners and advanced learners of all ages from 10 years are welcome. I convey all kinds of music, their style and technique. I am happy to help advanced students prepare for entrance exams, auditions, auditions and competitions. I also offer coaching for chamber music ensembles.
The key to successful viola lessons lies in a transparent and open exchange: I therefore encourage the students to share their needs and expectations; and the family is also involved in their musical development.
My two main instruments were made especially for me and I was able to exchange ideas with the violin makers during the instrument making, which gave me extensive knowledge of the manufacture, setup and care of a string instrument. I am also happy to pass on my knowledge to my students in this area. Because with the growing understanding of the acoustics of the viola, one's own playing technique and trust in the instrument develop.
English, Portuguese, Spanish or Italian are also possible as the language of instruction.

To generate interest in children to learn, constant dynamics are needed, which I have worked on for several years with different methodology that can be used for the development of musical learning, through games, which encompasses the physical, the visual and the auditory.

Learning by playing is the most used tool in my classes for children aged 7 and up.

Ideally, my students will learn to enjoy making music with their instrument and be able to hear the progress they are making each week. We will learn how to read music, music theory, and musical pieces at your level. I always teach in a student-focused way: what the student gets excited about is what I will teach! I teach classical music, jazz and various kinds of folk music. I have taught children for several years and I have experience teaching people of all ages. Hello!
