Piano lessons for children who are at beginner level

Professional pianist and passionate about pedagogy, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now in conservatories, music schools and private lessons. I hold a didactic master's degree in piano from the Royal Institute of Music and Pedagogy of Namur and a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory in France. I adapt to the profile of each student so that they can flourish musically!

I have two Bachelor's degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and currently at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I have a Master's degree with Olsi Leka, premier cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. My courses are in Spanish, in Anglais et in french.

The first minutes will be focused on the theory (in English, French or both if asked), and some culture of the western music. Then we will practise on the instrument. The program is free, the student can bring any sheets he wants. He will be advised on the manuel technic (how to place his/her hands, how to read efficiently).

Hello, I offer violin-viola, music theory, chamber music and musical education lessons for all levels (beginners, intermediates, advanced). I am 25 years old and I graduated from the music conservatories of Brussels and Cologne (Germany) with a specialized master's degree with great distinction. I am currently continuing my training in chamber music in Ghent as well as a master's degree in pedagogy at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Later I moved to Canada to continue my education with professor Lee Kum Sing at Vancouver Academy of Music (2017-2019). During my career I have achieved numerous awards on many significant piano competitions. I become platinum winner at Vancouver International Music Competition in 2017 which was held to celebrate 150th Canada’s birthday. I became Platinum Cash Prize Winner and achieved numerous extra prices. In October 2015 I accomplished the second round of XVII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. This achievement is a promotion to the top 30 world best young pianists. I achieved 3rd place twice (2013, 2015) in the National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. In 2008, I won the first prize and the Special Award of Elżbieta Stefańska for the best performance of Johann Sebastian Bach piece at the 10th Ludwik Stefański and Halina Czerny-Stefańska Piano Competition in Płock, Poland. Two years later I received second price in the 16th Polish Piano Competition in Konin, Poland and I was awarded the third prize at the International Podkarpacki Chopin Competition held in Rzeszów, Poland. I have been awarded many scholarships, such as those sponsored by the Mayor of my hometown Katowice, the Marshal of Silesian Province and the Polish Prime Minister. I cooperated with Piotr Kler Foundation and recorded three solo CDs with Fryderyk Chopin's music. In 2014 I was the very first to receive a Krystian Zimerman Award for most talented young pianists.
