My name is Martin, and I’ve been playing piano since I was six years old. Music has always been an important part of my life because through it, I can express my thoughts and feelings in a way that words don’t allow.

I’ve also had the privilege of winning numerous competitions and giving concerts across Europe, including in Austria, France, Spain, and Bulgaria. These experiences have deepened my understanding of music’s power to connect people across cultures and inspire audiences.

In addition to performing, I am passionate about teaching. I offer personalized piano lessons, both online and in person, tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. My teaching approach is supportive and engaging, with a focus on helping each student unlock their full potential while having fun along the way.

Over the years, I have performed a wide range of complex works, including Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2; Shostakovich’s Piano Concertos No. 1 and 2; many of Beethoven’s sonatas; Chopin’s Ballades; a lot of chamber music repertoire; and I have accompanied all kinds of instruments.

In addition to performing, I have years of teaching experience and am passionate about helping students find their own musical voice. I offer personalized piano lessons, both online and in person, tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. My teaching approach is supportive and engaging, with a focus on helping each student unlock their full potential while having fun along the way.

With 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve honed my methods to facilitate rapid progress and maximize efficiency. My students achieve in months, what usually takes years when following a conventional music school program. Nonetheless, I am not taking any shortcuts. On the contrary, one of the reasons why my students progress so fast is my insistence on building solid fundamentals. I strive for my students to master the necessary tools for them to then achieve their own personal ambitions.

Having observed the practice routines of professionals and university students worldwide, I've realized that there's often much time to be gained during practice. Realizing everyone's personnality, approach, affinities and tastes are different, I prioritize a personalized approach tailored to your individual learning style. Together, we'll make the most of our sessions, whether you're a beginner diving into music or an intermediate player seeking to enhance your skills. And guess what? You won't need to practice for hours on end to see significant improvement. With regular lessons, even just 15 minutes of practice three times a week can lead to enormous progress. As I often say, the learning process is more akin to a marathon than a sprint.

Teaching piano and music theory to conservatory students to grades 1 thru 12, as well as accompanying wind intruments and string instruments students, and also to students at the Singing and Opera Department of the Conservatory. I possess more than 13 years of progressive experience in the piano teaching field as well as a chamber music pianist and an accompanist and a music theory teacher at the State Conservatory of Istanbul University where I have been working for more than 13 years and at Halic University for 2 years and since October 2019 at Oper im Berg Festival in Salzburg.
Most recently, my responsibilities as a performing artist, a piano teacher and an accompanist and music theory teacher at the State Conservatory of Istanbul University, at Halic University and at Oper im Berg Festival in Salzburg match the qualifications you are seeking. My responsibilities include teaching to piano students of all levels includling college level and above as well as ear training, teaching music theory and accompanying to voice students, helping them in diction in Italian, German, French and English and interpretation of German Lieder repertoire at our singing and opera department. I have also been working with professional singers at “Oper im Berg Festival” as an accompanist as well as a study conductor. Advanced level pianist and student singer at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, I offer private piano lessons (classical training only, musical training included).

Having a dual training, it seems interesting to me to follow the musical instinct and sensitivity acquired in singing, on the piano.
