The beginning in the music world. Learn to read notes for the piano and piano lessons
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
My name is Fabienne and I am 17 years old. Last school year I successfully completed my VWO with music, among other things. As a result, I now have a gap year and I know all the music theory. I have been playing the piano for 8 years with great pleasure. I already teach piano to both young and old, with the motto that everyone can learn to play the piano! My lessons are always calm and I make sure that the student understands everything I explain. I'd rather explain a subject 20 times so that you understand it, than go through it quickly once and you don't understand it.Playing the piano is the most beautiful thing there is, but for many people one subject stands in the way of starting to play the piano. That subject is reading music. Reading notes is not only super useful to continue playing the piano, but it is also very useful to have as a basis for the theory of music.
The lessons can be planned according to the student's wishes. It is possible to learn to read music in combination with piano lessons (the way I personally recommend), but it is certainly also possible to just learn to read music.
Hopefully we'll see each other soon!

About Me
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Hi Hi! My name is Fabienne and playing the piano is of course the best thing there is. A piano is made for young and old, so everyone can learn it! I always took part in concerts at school, I always really enjoyed this, so I hope that I can inspire people to play the piano too!I teach piano to both young and old, so I have a lot of experience in different approaches to teaching different ages.
Fun will be the focus of the lessons. This certainly means that many new skills are learned, but this happens much faster with fun. You can choose a nice song yourself, for example: My heart will go on, from the Titanic. I will then look for suitable sheet music for the level the student is currently playing at.
Books are of course also very important, but I am of the opinion that you do not necessarily learn more from 7 years of playing books than from 7 years combined from books and playing songs that you really like.
I hope to see you soon in piano lessons!
books + costs of books to student.
Education

I am currently in a gap year after successfully completing my pre-university education with, among other things, music, so there are many options for planning lessons.Experience / Qualifications

Personally, I have been playing the piano for almost 9 years and I have half an hour of lessons every week. Because of this I already have a lot of experience. I also studied music for 6 years at VWO level, so I also know all the music theory and history.Piano is a beautiful form of listening to music. What's even better is being able to play the instrument yourself. I am happy to help with this, because the most important step is getting started. Once that step has been taken, things will only get easier.
I work with both books and songs that the students choose themselves, I choose the appropriate sheet music for this, because the best thing is to play songs that you really like!

Voice Lessons for Young/Inexperienced Singers - Classically Focused
These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation.
If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed).
*My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.

Oud and oriental Arabic singing lessons with an experienced teacher
Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years.
My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies.
Please feel free to leave me a message, I will reply as soon as possible.
Piano lessons for all levels and ages
A conservatory graduate and music theory teacher gives piano lessons.
All styles combined (classical, rock, accompaniment piano, etc.)
Method suitable for the little ones 4-5 years old
First course without obligation.
Professional jazz musician teaching jazz, blues, funk, R&B, pop, rock, latin and classical piano.
I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.
My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.
Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.
A bit about me:
Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
Learn how to play Piano (or Keyboard) at your own pace.
Have you ever wanted to learn to play the piano/keyboard but don't know where to start? Are you regretting giving up learning the piano/keyboard when you were younger? Do you feel that your current progress in playing the piano/keyboard is being held back?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes then please contact me. I always try to ensure that each individual student's interests are catered for. If you want to play for pleasure then I will encourage you to learn pieces that you like. Alternatively, if you are more interested in achievement, in terms of taking graded exams, then this is the pathway that we will take.
Enjoyment is the key to success as it leads to a desire to practise. So tayloring the class to your needs is absolutely essential and I am very keen to work with you to achieve this goal.
