I offer individualized classes, with different methods depending on the objective of each student.
Learning an instrument is not only a skill, but a lifetime enjoyment. The need to express emotions or let loose some inner tension, an instrument is the perfect tool. Music sings the sound of the soul, and the cello is the perfect instrument. Having played the cello for 17 years, i can say that music is a must for a happy life. It is the universal language. Dont be afraid to take that first step.

orchestras, also have been playing in orchestra in Germany, Lithuania, Czech Republic, in
Malta, In Poland, I have also been playing solo with orchestra. I accepted an invitation to
become a cello teacher and it was helpful as I became more critical of myself and I was
looking for new techniques and methods.
I have been composing since the age of 8, I write compositions in the chamber music genre, including for cello solo, cello and piano, piano and oboe and string quartet. Music is my language and my way to express myself, I feel
every note deep in my heart and it is reflected in the timbre of the cello.

For instance, Bach, Beethoven, Boccherini, Breval, Tchaikovsky, Schnittke, Popper, Davidoff, Piatti, Faure, Prokofiev, Milhaud, Saint-Saens, Haydn, Cassado, Hindemith, Schumann, Ravel. I collaborate in chamber ensembles, in orchestras, also have been playing in orchestra in Germany, Lithuania, Czech Republic, in Malta, In Poland, I have also playing solo with orchestra. I accepted an invitation to become a cello teacher and it was helpful as I became more critical of myself and I was looking for new techniques and methods.
2 years of work experience in official music school and 3 years experience teaching private lessons.
I have been composing since the age of 8, but I became professional when I met Peteris Vasks. He has been my composition teacher and my great inspiration. I write compositions in the chamber music genre, including for cello solo, cello and piano, piano and oboe, string quartet. Music is my language and my way to express myself, I feel every note deep in my heart and it is reflected in the timbre of the cello.
The cello is a very versatile instrument and can be used in many different styles. That's why I'm very open in my lessons and I'm happy to help my students learn classical and less classical playing techniques so that they can play the music they want.

Improvising is a good way to find peace in yourself, at the same time a great way to let out your emotions. There is no form in music. In that way, there is no need if you know how to play an instrument or not. You just have to know how to make sound, for example singing, clapping, or tapping on a bow. We will explore sound together, and let it become your language.

Composition in another way is very much connected to improvisation. Music theory is provided if you need it. We can either compose on the music sheet or on the software. We will find out exactly what you need help with!

Are you interested in learning the cello, piano, guitar or electronic music with a fun, diverse and exciting teacher? Then look no further!

I am a qualified cellist with a BMus from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and an experienced teacher. I studied classical music but also play electronic, folk and jazz styles.
English is my native language and although I am learning Norwegian now, I will be teaching in English.

I like to teach the cello in a fun and exciting way. From beginners to experts, it is important to have a solid technical foundation mixed with other skills in musicality such as interpretation, improvisation, good rhythm and music theory.

This class is for anyone wanting to explore and learn to express yourself through your own musicality and creativity, starting from beginners to intermediate level. I'll give you some tools for relaxed and free playing, I will work a lot with freeing up the body and remove tensions. For me it's important to find joy and expression in the music, and for that we need a solid foundation in technique, which I will start with and make sure you feel sure in your abilities! I want to help you reach your goals or just play for fun :) classically schooled, but any genre is welcome!

Private cello lessons for anyone interested in learning cello from the start or developing further and gaining new motivation. I focus on developing solid technique in a natural and healthy way, combined with musicality and enjoyment. Lessons may include note reading and playing together, but also playing by ear and improvisation for those interested. Repertoire is always tailored to the student’s goals, from classical and folk to jazz and popular music.

My goal as a teacher is to nurture and deepen each student’s love for music, while providing the skills and guidance needed to keep them motivated and challenged.
