Ik vind het prettigste om les te geven op een manier waarbij ik eerst kort de stof behandel met de leerling(en), vervolgens de leerling opgaven laat maken en op het punt dat de leerling vast loopt, of ik zie dat er iets niet helemaal lekker loopt de leerling de stof verder uit te leggen, of bepaalde SLIMMIGHEIDJES die niet in het boek staan uit te leggen.

Het is erg belangrijk voor leerlingen om VERTROUWEN te krijgen naar hun toetsen toe. Dat is de reden waaarom meer vertrouwen creëren bij de leerling een van de doelen tijdens de bijlessen is.

Voor mij is het belangrijk dat de leerling de stof echt GOED gaat BEGRIJPEN. Ik zal dus ook veel vragen waarom de leerling een bepaald antwoord geeft, zowel bij een goed of fout antwoord. Hierdoor leert een leerling zijn of haar antwoorden goed te berederen, en wordt er goed nagedacht over het gegeven antwoord. Ook corriceert de leerling zichzelf vaak al voordat ik iets heb gezegd, mocht het antwoord fout zijn geweest.

Ik vind het ook belangrijk dat de leerling niet tegen de bijlessen opziet, er moet ook ruimte zijn voor leuke opgaven, waarbij de materie op een leuke manier wordt toegepast. Ik probeer om dit te bereiken ook soms zelf opgaven te bedenken, of voorbeelden in de wereld om ons heen te vinden, die aansluiten op de materie, in een wat meer INTERESSANTE EN UITDAGENDE VORM dan in het boek staat. Het doel hiervan is dat de leerling de materie zelf ook leuker gaat vinden.

Ervaring:
Ik heb de afgelopen 7 jaar bijles gegeven aan middelbare scholieren in de vakken: Natuurkunde, Wiskunde (A, B & C), Scheikunde, Economie, Biologie en Aardrijkskunde. Dit waren leerlingen van alle verschillende niveaus en jaarlagen. Ik kan ook examentraining geven om een leerling goed te helpen bij de voorbereiding op de eindexamens (gemiddelde beoordeling van een 9,1 uit meer dan 50 evaluaties). Mijn expertise ligt met name bij natuurkunde, waarvoor ik meerdere cursussen heb voltooid en extra oefenmateriaal beschikbaar heb voor VMBO, HAVO en VWO.

Bovendien heb ik afgelopen zomer samengewerkt met Athenaschools om Natuurkunde examenbundels te schrijven die zowel gebruikt zullen worden tijdens examentraningen, als los verkocht zullen worden. Hierbij heb ik nog meer ervaring opgedaan om leerlingen zo goed mogelijk voor te bereiden op hun eindexamens.
