My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.
For the last seven years, I’ve been teaching Spanish in America and Europe to a broad variety of students: children/teenage tutoring, in-company adult students, online orientation and freelance translation for diverse projects.

I follow a flexible method adapting to the student’s level and personal goals.
During our classes the student will receive exercises, activities and extra resources as a plus for their class time.
My tools are diverse: textbooks, videos, podcast, newspapers, etc.
We can also discuss politics, arts, fashion or your favorite topic in order to develop your verbal or grammatical skills.

Nací en Barcelona... hace mucho tiempo. Crecí en este pueblo, pero ahora vivo un poco lejos de aquí. Estudié en la Universidad de Barcelona y en Huddersfield (cerca de Shefield, Halifax, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool,...no muy lejos de York: sitios bastante bonitos y mejor gente), y he dado clases de catalán, español, filosofía. , Historia e Inglés durante mucho tiempo... desde que tenía 16 años. ¿Qué pasó? Muy resumido, lo prometo: hace dos años iba caminando por la calle, justo enfrente de este colegio privado, y pensé: bueno, podrías entrar a este lugar y ver. Me gusta mucho el idioma inglés... y el Reino Unido,... pero no tengo un póster de la Reina en la pared de mi habitación. Fue una especie de cita a ciegas. Y ahí estaba ella: su sonrisa, su diligencia, su eficacia. Eva me escuchó. Y después de dos semanas me estaba enviando mensajes de texto para una clase. "Por favor, Xavier, ¿puedes cubrir algunas clases?" Y aquí estoy yo. (Eso fue hace dos años y medio, en Academy English Studio donde soy profesora de inglés desde hace más de dos años, hasta el 13 de marzo, cuando la señora encargada dijo literalmente que pasaría a mis 59 alumnos a otro profesor porque No tenía Internet en casa, ya que me había mudado recientemente a otra ciudad y no había tenido tiempo de configurar Internet, y nadie podía saber de ese encierro horrible y destructivo). Diplômé en mathématiques et en physique, je propose mon aide aux élèves qui rencontrent des difficultés dans ces deux matières. Mon approche consiste à revoir avec eux les points clés des cours et à les assister dans leurs devoirs, que ce soit à domicile ou par le biais de séances en ligne via webcam.

Mon objectif est d'aider l'élève à comprendre son cours et ses exercices, et de le guider sur la bonne voie afin qu'il réussisse son année scolaire ou universitaire. J'apporte mon soutien aux élèves de tous niveaux, à partir de 14 ans jusqu'à la deuxième année universitaire, dans les domaines des sciences, de l'économie ou de tout autre domaine où des cours de mathématiques, de statistiques, d'informatique et de physique sont dispensés.
Les cours peuvent être donnés à domicile (avec un tarif comprenant le cours et les frais de déplacement) ou par webcam (avec un tarif spécifique pour le cours en ligne).
Pour les séances de répétition, je recommande généralement entre 1 et 2 heures par semaine, et jusqu'à 10 heures par semaine pour les cours intensifs de révision et de remise à niveau.
