Are you a Horn beginner or are you looking to develop your technique? Are you looking to have more fun with the horn or improve your artistic skills? I offer lessons tailored to your musical goals, and I am happy to work with you to develop your voice with the horn. I can give lessons in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish. Besides music, I have a keen interest in sports and sports psychology. This is also reflected in my teaching method as I incorporate strategies and exercises, that are not so common in the music world. These will boost your practice and enhance your playing, increasing your enjoyment and progress.

A bit about me: I have 2 Bachelor's degrees from the Portuguese National Orchestra Academy (Lisbon) and The Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and a Master's from the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany). I have played with orchestras in Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal, including Rotterdam Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Weimar, Staatskapelle Halle, Phion, Noord Nederlands Orkest and many others. Since 2017, I am a member of the Amsterdam-based, Intercontinental Ensemble. We perform concerts regularly throughout the Netherland and have released 3 CDs. Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.
