I am a certified Greek language tutor with over 10 years of experience, accredited by the Centre for the Greek Language (CGL), the official institution of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. I hold degrees from three esteemed universities: Harvard University, Panteion University in Greece, and St. Thomas Polytechnic in Singapore.

Beyond teaching, I work as an editor of Greek articles and texts and specialize in translating Greek to English and vice versa. My expertise includes professional and legal documents, creative texts, and academic content.

This combination of skills allows me to offer students a unique perspective on the Greek language, ensuring they receive both practical and culturally enriched instruction. I am a native speaker of Greek. I graduated from a Greek high school and, later, the University of Athens where I attended courses in pedagogics, psychology, and linguistics.

During our lessons, I'll help you develop your skills (oral/written, and not only). I'll also try to help you improve your pronunciation and spelling. I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary.

I worked at a language center between 2009-2016 where I was a director of studies and taught mainly English as a foreign/second language. Since 2005, when I first started teaching Greek, I have taught children and adults on a variety of language proficiency levels, mainly individually.

I constantly seek progress, meaning that I study further through reading books/articles concerning didactics/methodology and learning difficulties (chiefly dyslexia), observing other teachers as well as attending seminars (online or face-to-face).

During my lessons I use :
- Skype/Whatsapp/Messenger to connect with you,
- Google Docs to keep notes, which you can check at any time and they are yours to keep,
- sketch board me to make mind maps to show connections between ideas, etc.
- books, PPP, word docs, diagrams, pics, etc.
- pronunciation/spelling/grammar games,
- authentic materials were taken from websites.

I adore my profession and desire each and every one of my students be satisfied with the lesson. That's why I make sure the atmosphere is stress-free and nice. I also want my lessons to be as effective and close to real-life needs as possible. Therefore, I make sure they are well-prepared, although they can be altered at any point, should such an opportunity arise. I like explaining things in a variety of ways as well as make use of dictionaries, diagrams, etc. When it comes to students who want to obtain certificates, I am very demanding.

On webcam in a studious atmosphere, I offer all electronic material free of charge on word and PDF pages. Specializing in both literary and economic texts, I take care of beginners as well as advanced people who want to progress in French. It is the same for all levels in Greek. Graduated from the University of Sorbonne IV Paris, I also work on corrections of memoirs, comments and translations. MY METHODOLOGY Expert for beginners, since I have worked a lot on my "beginners" method which is based on my own experience in collaboration with specialist writers from CLE international and so we proceed in stages. On webcam I share my screen, I write most of the terms and I send them after the lesson in pdf on the email of the student. The student will be able to print my notes. I also use specialized methods for English speakers. My lesson is not limited to an hour of 60 minutes because I send you throughout the week videos, magazines of your interest: arts, fashion, politics, history, health etc.

Ancient Greek is one of the oldest languages in the world. A multitude of literary and philosophical texts have been written in this language. Later, Latin will take up many elements of the heritage of ancient Greek. Today, about 10% of the words in the French language have an ancient Greek origin.
