Hi! I’m Gemma, a friendly and enthusiastic English tutor, with TEFL qualifications. I support students with their conversational English, so entering new situations, whether it be work, school, university, or even just going on holiday, feels a little less daunting. From beginner to advanced, we will work on the topics and language that you’d like to learn more about and that suit your lifestyle. I see each person is an individual, and so we work together to build confidence in language use through a range of mediums and tools, rather than follow a pre-set plan.

We can also work on more formal language skills to help you excel in job interviews, presentations, and lectures.

I hold a BA in Anthropology (University of Durham) and and MSc in Migration and International Development (SOAS, University of London). I am currently re-training as a Landscape Architect.
