The Basic Geriatric Care course is essential for persons tasked with the care of their elders (family members) or persons interested in the field of caregiving.

The course provides participants with a basic understanding of meeting the needs of the elderly: physical needs, emotional needs and special needs and will provide a in-depth understanding of the changes associated with aging. Content will be covered through lectures, online classroom discussions, assignments, and role plays.

Hi, My name is Celeste. I consider myself a lifelong learner and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I am currently an Adjunct Lecturer with an Accredited University in Trinidad and Tobago. I enjoy facilitating courses that are relatable and allows learning to happen almost naturally as students interact and share their real life experiences.
The classroom allows for creativity, engagement and an exchange of the key fundamentals in one's field.
The Elder Care course provides students with a greater appreciation for the elderly, their uniqueness and the changes associated with aging. Thereby equipping persons with the "know-how" on caring for them!

I can also explain functional anatomy, neuroanatomy and the aetiology(causes) of orthopedic diseases

(In case you are a physiotherapy student/medical fitness instructor etc I can provide you with different treatment options for any orthopedic disorder in your practical classes.)

I can help you pass your anatomy exam in phyisotherapy/fitness/yoga/pilates nursing courses.

The learning sessions will consist of different ways to approach complicated topic matters to boost learning at different levels.
Near the end of the session, a questionnaire will be performed to review the learning.
