About Me

I started music at the age of 7. I have always played jazz and have a great passion for this music and for improvisation. I studied this music a lot since I had a DEM in Jazz at the CRR of Saint Etienne in 2015 after 6 years of study there, then I studied for 5 years in the Jazz department of the CNSMDP and obtained my master's degree. in June 2021.
I play on the Parisian jazz scene, notably with the group Fustige.

I've been playing since 2020 in a band called Fustige. We released an EP in March 2022 and took part in the Jazz à la Défense springboard final in June 2022.
I was lead alto saxophone (and soprano) in 2020 and 2021 of the second Youth Orchestra of the ONJ (Orchestre National De Jazz). I had the opportunity to play several times abroad as part of various projects sometimes linked to the CNSMDP: Germany, Italy, Panama, Canada, Dominican Republic.

Hello, welcome to my ad!

My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar.
My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician.
We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method.
As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities.
Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun.

My name is Loris, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a student at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in the jazz department. I've been playing saxophone since I was 14 and previously studied in Germany, where I'm from. Since I started playing, I've performed in various big bands and solo projects, such as the South German Youth Jazz Orchestra. For my own projects, I've toured throughout Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
