I am a French-American student living in Montreal and I am 18 years old. I have been studying at HEC Montreal for a year, and I am from Paris.

My family is divided between France and the United States. My mother lives in Paris, and my father and my brothers and sisters live in New York. Thanks to this dual culture, I have been able to develop my practice of the French and English languages and I consider myself today as bilingual.

I have always used to be asked for my facilities in English when I lived in France, and I speak French perfectly because I have always lived in Paris. My many visits to the United States during my college and high school allowed me to practice the language, or I spoke English even within my family, especially with my sister who does not speak French.
In addition, I had two high school students in French during my high school.

My pedagogy is based on the continuous oral practice of the language, as well as the use of video or written materials. I can adapt to the needs of the student to accompany him in his homework and work.

Hello everyone!

After a few years teaching in several institutions in France and after an expatriation in Quebec, I decided to focus only on private lessons, online and at home. Here is the beginning of a new experience :)

At the level of my schooling, I studied at the secondary level in literature (French literary baccalaureate with reinforced English and option arts), before completing a degree (equivalent of the baccalaureate of Quebec - it is to be lost!) In literature and English-speaking civilization, before starting a master's degree in English-language literature.

I was a teaching assistant in high school English at a college in Angers (France) for two years. I learned the basics of the job. I took charge of groups or entire classes, including a group of allophone students for FFL classes, I participated in the implementation of sequences and the evaluation of students while enjoying the knowledge -to do my tutors English teachers.

I have also been a substitute teacher on long term positions (all year). In French high school, with seven classes on three levels (bac S and ES). So I prepared my students for the baccalaureate exam and took care of my classes for progression in English. I also taught in post-secondary, BTS.

In parallel, I have always given private lessons in English and French, for various levels; international students, university students, children, young people, for exam preparation (bac, TEFaQ and TOEIC especially). I gave classes online (Skype, Hangouts) and face-to-face, at home or in public places (university, library). I like the convenience of the online course, it allows the use of interesting tools and the learner often feels more comfortable :)

I have also been au pair twice, in England. Each time, I was in charge of three children from the same family, for whom I had to plan activities and teach the basics of French. I loved this experience!

I am currently an expatriate in Montreal where I greatly appreciate the mix of English and French. The city lends itself to an endless cultural opening which I could not do without.

my name is Alice, I am 19 years old and I come from France. I just arrived in Montreal to study at the University of Montreal. I obtained a scientific baccalaureate with honors.
I did a 3 months high school exchange in English-speaking Canada (Ontario) in 2016. I then returned for 6 weeks in June / July. I also do several language trips abroad. In addition I do English classes since the age of 6 at home.
I wish to give courses for beginner or intermediate from the cp to the terminal, or even for the youngest (from 5 years).
I started teaching classes in 2015 to a 14 year old girl. And for 3 years in France I taught a 14 year old student and an 8 year old to teach him basic English.

The courses will be based on the person's desire / need (oral, comprehension, vocabulary, review the basics or learn them, help with English homework ...)

I use a lot of different media, do not hesitate to work on current things (songs, movies ...) while including learning (vocabularies, understanding ....)
