I specialize in teaching English, Math, and Computer languages like Python and JavaScript, as well as in exam preparation for the ACT, TOEFL, and SAT. In my experience teaching, I have found that each student has their unique way of learning, therefore I create custom lesson plans that focus on the areas that need improvement, presenting it in a fun and interactive way. During the first session I like to get to know your goals, interests, and current level, which will determine the approach we take in creating a personal curriculum. With test preparation, I not only go over how to solve problems or the solutions, but I go into detail on how to use time effectively, necessary skills that you need in order to get that high score, and little tips and tricks to make the test work to your advantage.

Ciao! My name is Tom, and I am an outgoing, adventurous, hardworking and motivated English teacher, as well as a private tutor in many other fields. I am passionate about travel and learning about new cultures and customs. I have been to over 20 countries and have taught English in several. I enjoy working with and helping others overcome challenges, as well as watching them grow as individuals. I believe that it is important to give back to my community, and teaching individuals the skills and knowledge I have acquired are one of the best ways I know. I have taken several education and learning classes at DePaul University, which have strengthened my ability to instruct as well as work with others to achieve goals. As a result, I've learned that each student learns in his/her way, which is why I create custom lesson plans for their specific interests, goals, and method of learning.

Also, I am really into outdoor activities -hiking, swimming, and biking, and also love to make music. And I enjoy playing and watching sports like football (not American) and baseball.

In my second year at AgroParisTech (France's leading agricultural engineering school) and coming out of two years of BCPST prep school, I learned the importance of having good working methods and finding one's own techniques for retaining information. Insegnante bilingue focalizzata sull'insegnamento in English per i bambini from daily activities svolte in English (giochi, passeggiate, cucina...). My name is Sebastião and I am an International Master's Student in POLIMI from Portugal.

Speaking languages is a necessity in our daily lives. I am fluent in English ( C2 Proficiency Cambridge Certificate) and Portuguese (my native language).
