Hello!
I'm Arielle, I am 22 years old, and right now I am a Master student at Université de Lille.
I was born in Brazil, where I have lived most of my life, but when I turned 11, I moved to Florida, in the United States. I stayed there during five years, and I did my Middle School and part of my High School there, having therefore the opportunity to gain a fluency in English very close to native! :)
After I retuned to Brazil, I graduated high school there, and decided to continue my studies in a field where the use of English was current, which enabled be to continue practicing the language on a daily basis.
Today, the Master course I am taking is taught in English.

Graduate teacher offers an individualized pedagogy, assistance with the preparation of questions or exams. My goal is to advance the student without overburdening him. I give homework after each lesson and periodically provide progress reports.
I also give lessons to adults.

Knowing how to express oneself freely in a foreign language is more and more valued in today's world. I offer my help as an expert in the Dutch language (my mother tongue) and the English language (native speaker level). These courses are open to school pupils, to the youngest children who are exposed to a foreign language for the first time, and also to adults and professionals seeking to improve their language skills as part of their career.

My methodology is based on active pedagogy, self-confidence, listening, sharing and autonomy.

I start from the needs of the student, I make a point with him so that we can together set goals and do everything possible to achieve them.

Not being a big fan of textbooks, I prefer to build my own lessons, specific to each student and according to their needs.

I offer fun teaching techniques that are less like what we do at school to facilitate learning. In language classes, I focus a lot on learning through speech. For me, learning should not be boring but entertaining. I offer online courses, at my home as well as yours. I can teach in Dutch, however, it is not my native language. I can give lessons in mathematics, French, Dutch, math, history, science and geography for students from 3 to 16 years old. I also give the basics in these subjects for adults as well as French, Dutch and English lessons at all levels.
