My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic. I adapt my lessons to each student, by offering courses focused on technique or more free, according to each person's expectations. My adaptability extends to all levels and all ages!

I study the horn at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and I offer music theory/musical training lessons for all ages from 7 years old, for levels ranging from beginner to first year of conservatory. I am now a psychology student at UGent, and I also play the cello.

Individual courses structured in several small stages: warming up of the body, work on breathing and sound on the instrument ...; the choice of the repertoire is adapted to the level of the student to learn while having fun. A harpsichord accompaniment is possible during classes at the teacher's home. 2. I am Henry, concert pianist, currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I have had extensive experience as a soloist on stages and in concerts, as well as experience as a teacher for children and adults with very good results. The teaching method involves different learning processes in the student; - recognition of notes on the keyboard - correct positioning of hands and fingers - learning to read sheet music - learning works and resources to interpret them - basic musical, melodic and rhythmic theory.

I have always been passionate about music, I play three instruments, and I recently finished my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Piet Kuijken. I’m a conservatory student who has experience with teaching at a beginner and intermediate level. We will go through the basics of technique, getting to know the instrument, etc., so you can find your own voice. I’m a very positive and flexible teacher, so I adapt fully to the needs of my students.

Posture and comfort with the instrument are the foundation for playing the guitar. I often make the connection with other musical instruments such as percussion, wind instruments and singing. Separating and understanding the roles of the two hands is another important step in the course. One hand plays the rhythm and the other plays the notes on the fretboard. There are many exercises to develop the knowledge and skills of both hands.

At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses: - a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much. - a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

In my classes, you can learn how to play the Chinese bamboo flute (dizi) or xiao. If you’re interested in orchestral conducting or music theory, I also offer related courses. Bamboo Flute Course: You will learn how to play the Chinese bamboo flute and continuously improve your performance skills throughout the course. You can choose to learn the bamboo flute or xiao and play classical pieces or your favorite songs. Orchestral Conducting: If you need to prepare for related exams or are interested in orchestral conducting, I can help you prepare the necessary repertoire through score reading, analysis, and conducting techniques during the course. Music Theory: Music theory courses are available for children, providing a solid theoretical foundation to enhance their musical learning and make progress much faster!

Hello, I'm Adelina! I'm Romanian and I've recently graduated my master’s in violin performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. Apart from playing music, one of my other passions is teaching. While having a degree in pedagogy, I've had several violin and music theory students so far. I’m experienced with teaching children/teenagers between the ages of 4 and 15. However, I’ve had adults in my class as well! As my profession requires, I’m calm, creative with musical games and have quite a lot of patience.
