I am a professionally educated bass guitarist and teacher from Hungary, currently based in The Hague (Freshly graduated in master education at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague) I am an active musician since 2014, I have played in several formations from solo performances to bigbands and orchestras. I mostly play in the genres of jazz (free, fusion), metal, repetitive minimal music and contemporary classical music. Besides playing I am quite passionate about teaching, during my bachelor studies I have started to teach in music schools and also in private, and teaching since then. I can teach you jazz theory, composition and my own teaching method too in a very clear way. My view on music is simple: Music is a game, that is why we call it "playing" music. I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory. I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time! I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing. I can also offer classes in music theory (tonalities, harmony, scales, intervals...etc) and musical language (rhythm, intonation). I'm a professional violinist.

My name is João, I'm from Portugal, I'm 24 years of age, and I'm doing my bachelor's in jazz at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I've been playing piano all my life, and can't wait to share what I've learned with you! I teach piano to all ages from beginner to intermediate. Although I have a program, I will let you create your own path, taking into account the several landmarks I create according to your level and needs. Teaching is all about the individuality of each person I work with, and as a student myself, I find it to be one of the most important points in teaching. I focus mainly on jazz music, but since music theory and harmony respect all kinds of music, I am open to every suggestion you bring into the class. The lessons will focus on learning music through listening, as well as introducing the student to music theory, and reading scores. I am Michele, a professional musician with more than 15 years of experience and with two Classical Guitar Master's degrees. I give guitar and music theory lessons for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced players. I believe that following a path that best suits the characteristics, tastes, and goals of each student is the best and funniest way to learn an instrument. Each of my lessons is unique and adapted to the student's personality. At first, I usually aim at the acquisition of basic knowledge relating to the instrument. Then, you decide what to learn: from classical guitar to electric or acoustic guitar, from classical music to rock, pop, or folk! For instance, if you want to learn how to play classical music, we are going to work on how to read and interpret a score, acquire a good technique (arpeggios, scales, and control of polyphony) while always focusing on the meaning, the feeling, and the direction of the musical piece. At the same time, if you want to focus on other genres (such as rock, pop, etc...) we are going to work on improving your ear skills, sense of rhythm, and theory knowledge while learning the songs you like the most. In this way, you will be able to learn not only how to play guitar by yourself, but also how to play together with other people, be able to understand the music and play what you really feel and want to play. Of course, nothing stops us from working on different styles of playing at the same time! I am also available for the preparation of the entrance exams to the guitar courses (preparatory courses, Bachelor, Master) of the Conservatory.

The emphasis during my lessons is on technique, theory, but improvisation is also discussed. However, everything will be tailor-made, depending on the level of the student. All genres are covered. Obviously there is room for questions.

I am a professional musician from Sydney and have a Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz) from the Sydney University. Over 10 years of experience teaching and over 20 years playing the trumpet. My playing experience covers all styles and includes numerous performances with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, small jazz ensembles, NDR Bigband, rock band Caravãna Sun, Tim Minchin and session work including Dancing with the Stars and The Voice in Australia. Private trumpet tuition of all ages/levels ranging from 7 years old to University students, holistic approach and/or training for relevant exams. Technical method is a refined hybrid of multiple trumpet methods tailored to the individual student, including: Caruso Method, Adams Routine, Flexus, Arbans, Schlossberg and Stamp.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
