Me llamo Luis y soy profesor de inglés, japonés y español para extranjeros. Tengo más de 30 años de experiencia en la enseñanza de idiomas tanto en Japón como en España. Soy profesor de español para extranjeros (certificado ELE), y tengo también la certificación TESOL para enseñar inglés como segunda lengua.

He vivido en Estados Unidos y en Japón, durante más de 20 años. He enseñado español como primera y segunda lengua e inglés como segunda lengua en empresas, institutos, universidades y actualmente en línea.

Tengo una amplia experiencia en la preparación para los Certificados DELE y SIELE de España y de los exámenes de inglés de Cambridge PET, KET y FIRST, así como del certificado APTIS del British Council.

Cada estudiante tiene una razón específica para aprender un idioma, ya sea por negocios, vacaciones, o simplemente por diversión. Mi objetivo es respetar las necesidades de cada estudiante, proporcionándoles las herramientas que mejor satisfagan sus necesidades, su motivación y sus intereses.

Pero creo que lo más importante en el aprendizaje de idiomas es que se disfrute al mismo tiempo que aprendes. Por eso, intento que mis clases sean divertidas y dinámicas. Me encanta hablar y hacer preguntas y animo a mis alumnos a hacer lo mismo, porque...

El idioma español es una de mis mayores pasiones y me siento afortunado porque he tenido la oportunidad de convertir mi pasión en un trabajo de tiempo completo durante los últimos 30 años. Mis lecciones están diseñadas para ser efectivas pero también divertidas. Los estudiantes adquieren rápidamente la confianza para usar el nuevo idioma y se les anima a querer aprender más.

Sugiero que los estudiantes principiantes sigan el plan de estudios clásico para el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras para sentar las bases de sus estudios. El objetivo es cubrir la gramática básica con muchas repeticiones orales en situaciones prácticas. A medida que los estudiantes progresan, están preparados para una gramática cada vez más compleja.

My teaching approach is designed to develop communication skills above all. We watch or read materials, such as videos, articles, stories, poems, caricatures, then discuss them; we act out situations from everyday life; we take positions and practice debates. However, this doesn’t mean that we just practice speaking. I also make sure the learner is not running in circles. I’m here to ensure that they do not keep repeating the same mistakes or keep using the same expressions over and over in conversation.
In order to keep making progress, I take my student on a journey that involves:
• Improving their grammar.
• Fixing their pronunciation.
• Enriching their vocabulary by learning to use new words and common idioms.
By the end of this course, you should be able to speak English fluently and confidently.

Here is the pathway we will follow in our lessons!
We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
