-During the pandemic, I taught Tai Chi classes online, connecting with students from Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil. These virtual sessions allowed people to practice the art of Tai Chi from the comfort of their homes, fostering wellness and connection during a challenging time.
This class is designed for beginners, introducing them to the principles and classics of Tai Chi Quan,. Participants will study postures and forms in a typical class setting, but as a key step, we will also focus on the internal structure to prevent injuries and harness the true power within our bodies. Classes are provided in English or Spanish
These Tai chi classes are known for their gentle approach to movement and ability to improve flexibility, balance, breathing, and strength. My focus is to give you a solid foundation and teach you proper techniques. In our class, we will emphasize the mind-body connection and encourage regular practice for maximum improvements in your physical, mental, and emotional health. We will base our practice of Tai Chi Chuan on the traditional structure starting with the stances studies, breathing through Qi gong practices, and the movement through the deep study of the Tai chi form #37.
