During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Music is my passion and it is a joy for me to pass it on: My educational experience and my training allow me to teach music with games and playful methods in order to learn and play with pleasure, and I adapts the pieces and methods according to the level of the students and their ages.

I’m a professional violinist and composer, originally from Portugal. I lived in London for 12 years and I hold a Master of Music degree in Violin and Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music, London. I provide Violin, Music Theory, and Composition lessons. I have been teaching for over 10 years, both privately and in schools. I have helped dozens of students achieve their goals in music, many of whom achieved Distinction in their music exams. I have an extensive orchestral experience and I write music for film and TV. I prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity or any other music conservatory exam in Violin and Music Theory. I can help students learn how to read music and to understand how music works, as opposed to a memory-based approach most music teachers follow. I encourage my students to be creative and to experiment composing their own pieces. Violinist graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have several years of educational experiences. I propose adapted courses for all levels. I taught at the conservatory, and in music school. The courses are divided into several parts. The first is learning the basics (for beginners), the technique of the violin, then the consolidation of the notions of music theory and finally the discovery of pieces. I work in a fun, but demanding way while listening to students. My methods vary according to the needs of the students. I have been teaching for 10 years. I started many students who are now able to have fun playing all types of repertoire. I also accompany the more advanced levels in their artistic work. My teaching allows students to gain autonomy, while developing their musicality. I am a graduate violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with several years of teaching experience. I offer violin lessons for all levels of learning. Lessons contain several elements. The first one will focus on the basics (for beginners) of violin technic (skills, bowing exercises, tuning ...), some point on notation and musical culture . Hello! I am offering lessons in classical viola and violin from beginners to more advanced students, also occasional lessons possible, perfect for for example competition or concert preparation. For beginners, we can focus on ergonomical instrument hold, basics of sheet music reading and short, easy pieces. My goal is to make playing exciting and help you find the joy as a beginner. For more advanced students we can focus on technical issues, musicality and interpretation. I have a broad experience as a concert violist, and I have taught beginners for private lessons, and given multiple masterclasses for more advanced students.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway. The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them. It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old. Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.

I have been practicing the violin for over 20 years, I have studied classical music throughout my studies and then studied electronic music and improvisation. At the same time, I studied music theory until I obtained my diploma. I am self-taught regarding the Ableton software but I have been using it for 8 years now and know it perfectly I adapt to each desire, each request and of course at each level!

I am a Violinist that has recently graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. I perform regularly as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician and very much enjoy teaching a wide range of different generations. I am dedicated into inspiring the next generation of musicians and help them find their love for music just as much as I do. I am a fluent English and German speaker so happy to teach in either languages. I am also available for basic music theory lessons.
