I am a professional teacher with immense knowledge and experience in pastoral care. I worked in London as a fully qualified teacher since 2005, and then in Kazakhstan, in International school for two years, followed by the employment in one of the best International school in Switzerland since 2012.
I am proficient in teaching Learning support, English as a Second Language, Piano ( ABRSM and Trinity examination all the Grades), Music and Russian language and literature, Ukrainian language.

Piano lessons are a powerful tool to improve concentration and give students a sense of satisfaction. Learning the piano could have a very beneficial effect on anyone with dyslexia or any other learning difficulties if the teacher employs slightly different methods, so the process of learning remains enjoyable but not frustrating. With my experience and qualification in teaching the piano and working for many years as a special needs teacher and assessor, I am ideally placed to create a specific approach for your or your child's needs. At the same time as teaching piano up to Trinity College Certificate Level (and up to ABRSM Grade 8), I am also giving piano lessons specifically designed for students who did not progress as expected and failed to reach customary milestones in compulsory education in order to overcome the challenges and help them succeed in learning to play the piano.

Working in a group offers many advantages to beginners or inexperienced students.

Apolline offers her students the possibility of joining a group workshop, in addition to the basic instrument course, so that they can play with other musicians of their age. Accompanied by a teacher, they will learn to play in groups, through covers or their own compositions.
