As a Spanish tutor, I offer:
-Homework help for K-12 and college classes
-In-depth explanations on conjugation and other grammar that might trip up English speakers
-Understanding of how Spanish is taught in US public schools- and areas where that instruction may fall short
-Personalized lesson plans based on each individual's needs
-Empathy- as a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Spanish, I know what it's like to struggle with learning a foreign language!
-Progress reports for parents
-Help learning to read, write, speak- or any combination of the three!

Don't let one-size-fits-all classroom instruction get you down- I am happy to work with you at YOUR pace! Learning a foreign language can be extremely challenging and even frustrating, and I want to provide a learning experience that cultivates joy.

Informations supplémentaires

Depending on the length of our initial session, most or part of it will be an assessment of your current skills. For those of you in school: Please bring things like homework, graded assignments, report cards, teacher comments, etc AND/OR a detailed list of what kind of help you need so we can start our lessons as early as possible!

For adult students outside of a school environment: Please bring a detailed list of what you need help with. If you're a complete beginner and have no idea where to start, that's fine too!

It also helps me to know each student's interests/hobbies so I can make lessons engaging for them.
