For the study of the instrument, we will focus on a dynamic between, the study of the violoncelle and his technique, using scores, melodies, and improvisation. A method based also on the connection between brain-body that allows one to improve and enjoy the art of practicing in different ways.
Anyway, each student requires a specific method, depending on their dedication and objectives. The assigned method varies between students and growth by levels; this situation makes teachers make a decision. Sometimes the explanation is required in a theoretical or more dynamic way through videos, music, own compositions, improvisation, imitation, and feelings.
The study of music is an advantage aye allows me to develop theory, information, and suggestions more communicatively, so don't hesitate to contact me in case that you just wanna learn and enjoy classical and nowadays music and performances.

Hello everybody,

I am an enthusiastic girl, open to learning and sharing information this is the reason why I am here.
If you like music as much and I or you are curious about it, you would like to learn the violoncello and also about history and basics during the lesson, this is a nice opportunity to start or continue.

I will inform you about concerts, performances, courses, etc... so you can enjoy music for the whole week.

Iratxe is a young cellist from Spain born in 1997, involved in the study of classical interpretation and in projects of a social nature, the relationship between other artistic branches, and the study, and the creation of contemporary art. He began her Violoncello Bachelor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla y león in Salamanca Spain), then she applied for an Erasmus+ OLS program and she continues her three years at the Koninklijk Conservatorium from Den Haag (the Netherlands) in the violoncello class of Lucia Swart. At the Royal Conservatorium, she was part of the Institute of Sonology, in the live electronics department. Iratxe is completing the last year of her bachelor's at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp(Belgium).

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Since 2015, Iratxe has been taking part in different projects, some of them related to the classical aspect of her career, and since last year she has been working also on more open, social, interdisciplinary, and creative projects. In 2015 she collaborated with the BOS (Bilbao Symphony Orchestra), but also as a violoncello soloist in the recording of the film: "2TonPAIJUPeak", made for the Mendi Film Festival (world premiere in 2015), with the WOP foundation that developed different artistic activities looking for financial support for help into the search of therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. She is a founding member of the Ensemble Collider, with whom he records a CD: Acoustic Soundscapes.

From 2017 to 2018 was part of the “Entschlössen Quartet” which made a concert tour in Spain: Contemporary Music Cycle of the Professional Conservatory of Salamanca, Miguel Delíbes Cultural Center (Valladolid), 20th Century Music Cycle (Madrid), and Real Club de Regatas (Santander) and exchange at the “A.Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music” in the city of Moskow, and a concert tour at different halls from the Russian city.

In 2019 she worked together with the potter Joris-Jan Bos, and the double bass player Paula Escudero, we held different meetings for improvisation, at the 3trees Ceramics gallery working with the concept from Western-European Error and perfection in art. Inspired by the ancient Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy. During this year in collaboration with graphic designer Eva Horvath, presented a visual and sound installation at KABK (the Netherlands).

Since 2018, she has been part of the OSJG (Galicia, Spain). In 2019, Iratxe was selected to take part in the Al Bustan Festival Academy Orchestra. Participating in the renowned festival "Al Bustan International Festival of Music and Performance Arts", in Beirut, Lebanon.

In the Summer of 2019, Iratxe was part of the international festival Castelcello in Brunnenburg (Italy).
She participated in the ARTICULATE festival in Antwerpen (Belgium) and the “NOORDERLICHT” festival in Antwerpen (Belgium) where she developed her own projects. Over the past year, she has been doing an internship together with the Belgian KunstZ Organization, a place of artistic cultivation that uses diversity as an engine for the renewal and expansion of the performing arts.

Iratxe has been awarded for several years by The Basque Government, supporting talented musicians to pay for their studies.

Cello Lessons for all levels:
My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :)

Conservatory Preparation:
In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 9 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

Hello everyone! My name is Blanca and I am a Master's student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen.
I offer private music and piano lessons, at your place or even online. I have been teaching children and adults since I was 17, and I have been working in a lot of private schools, as well as my own private students.
I can adapt the content to every level, and for me, it's quite important the communicate during the lessons and the goals we want to achieve.
I can teach in Spanish (my mother tongue), English, or even German.

- fun musical games (clapping, singing, using colours, memory games)
- exploring instruments (piano, recorder, voice, body percussion)
- focusing in the music that inspires and motivates the child
- introduction and exploration of musical genres
- *(optional) help with music theory (homework) and the understanding of it
