I am a bioscience engineering student (masters) and fluent in French, Dutch and English. In my language classes, I combine written and verbal aspects of the language and focus on the difficulties of the student to make sure the student feels comfortable with the language. I prepare my class beforehand according to the needs of the student and the content of his/her course. In my science classes, I start with a general overview of the matter to make sure the basics are understood. Furthermore, I will make sure the student feels comfortable solving problems or understanding pathways and mechanisms.
