I provide Violin and Viola individual classes for all ages and all levels, from complete beginners to master level. I can prepare for exams, if required.
I have a Master degree in Violin/Viola from Verona Conservatory of Music (Italy) and an extensive experience both as a performer (in professional orchestras in Italy, Germany, Spain, and other countries) and as a teacher (Violin and Viola teacher in Music Conservatories in Europe and in Private Schools overseas).

My teaching approach is always modeled on each different student, according to her/his interest, attitude and talent. I have myself learned from different teachers and different countries, eventually making myself comfortable with the Russian School and the Italian School mostly.

I consider myself empathic and sensible, but an achiever. In the relation with my students I first listen to what their goals are, then I adapt my knowledge and skills to each of them in order to achieve those goals in the most effective way and without wasting time (and the students' money).

Education

I have graduated in Verona Music Conservatory and took a Master in Florence "Scuola di Musica di Fiesole" in Violin and Viola.
I have also a degree in Communications from the University of Padua.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have been working as a violist in professional orchestras in Europe (mainly Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, Teatro Liceu Orchestra in Barcelona, Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan) and outside Europe (mainly in Israel and South Africa, where I have been based for a few years).
At the same time, I have extensively taken the teaching of my instrument as a mission on its own, dedicating my time to improve my knowledge in this field. I have learnt from international renowed soloists and from not-so-renowed but great teachers. I have made my own experience teaching violin and viola first in small music schools, then in music conservatories and high level private schools.

Violin and viola for beginners, advanced and professionals. Also preparation for entrance exams and competitions. «You can demonstrate high education by knowing how to explain the most complicated things in a simple way (George Bernard Shaw). There is always time to start something new or to relive something that used to make you happy! For me, being able to play an instrument is the ability that is naturally achieved through passion, commitment, imagination and patience. Learn to play the violin or viola in a pleasant atmosphere and at your own pace. No matter what level you bring - whether complete beginner, advanced or professional - I am happy to be your instrumentalist.
