English language and literature preparation for GCSE lessons

I teach English at GCSE level, including language and literature components. This class will provide you with rigorous practice of GCSE-level essays, in accordance with the respective exam boards, and help you build the correct skillset to ascertain that A-A* in your English exam!

My teaching style is mainly practical and conversational, requiring active engagement from myself, as well as the student. The lesson will have active discussion and feedback on practiced work. Students will be given some tasks to do after every lesson, upon which they will be given constructive feedback to hone their skills.

I would describe myself as an engaging and enthusiastic teacher! My teaching style includes providing feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students. I try to maintain a friendly environment in classes where students feel comfortable to share their difficulties and weak points.

International Development student, studying through distance learning at University of London with academic direction provided by the London School of Economics and Political Science. The distance aspect of this course allows me to allocate time for, both, work and study.
