Mathematics Tutoring for school and university students

Mathematics is my passion, but I know its not for everyone. Sometimes the material is covered badly in school or at Uni, sometimes you just missed something or do not understand a concept. Whatever the reason might be, my goal is to teach you the material in such a way, that eventually you'll learn how to comprehend new concepts on your own.

During my tutoring I focus on explaining the material in an extensive fashion, so that while solving excercises you develop a connection to the concepts and ideas. Thus not learning a specific "way" of solving a problem, but rather gaining an intuition for it.

One experienced method, which might not be met with the biggest enthusiasm, is extra problems which I would like you to solve at home. I know it is an extra workload, but nothing comes for free. The excercises will be tailored to you and give you the extra needed repetition of the material.

A short note about myself: I am a masters student in pure Mathematics with focus on Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Number Theory. I have tutored over 40 students in 6 years.

My name is Jakub, but please call me Kuba (polish version). I am a math enthusiast and especially interested in algebraic geometry aswell as Algebraic Number Theory. As a typical math student, I like to play an ocasional chess round, but also nerd out a bit about Geoguessr.

I am currently studying in a Masters Program in Mathematics and also working at the University of Vienna. I have tutored over 40 students during a 6 year time period.

I've taught maths for high school students for a couple years while finishing my math degree. I can teach in either French or English. My name is Flora, I'm 22 years old and I'm in the 4th semester studying geodesy (surveying) at the Vienna University of Technology. I have been tutoring math and French for two years. In math I currently have 4 young people (4 AHS to 7th grade high school). I currently discuss the material weekly with my little sister, who is in 7th grade and has difficulties with math. In other words, I am very familiar with the 7th grade material. I find it easy to pick up on different topics and understand them quickly. I also like to explain and I also know that it simply takes repetition for a material to solidify. Especially in advanced subjects like math.
