This course is designed for anyone curious about the Chinese language and culture, no matter your background or level. Rather than focusing only on grammar and memorization, we explore Chinese through real-life situations, cultural stories, and interactive activities. Students will practice useful expressions for daily communication while also discovering the traditions, values, and creativity behind the language.
The aim is not only to help you speak Chinese, but also to feel its rhythm, logic, and beauty. By the end of the course, you will be able to use Chinese confidently in practical contexts, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and ways of thinking.

Hello, my name is Yingli. I'm from China and now studying for a master’s degree in Digital Media and Society in Uppsala University. As a native Chinese speaker, I enjoy sharing my language and culture with others. Since I am also learning Swedish myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I try to make Chinese lessons practical, clear, and fun.
