Hello Everyone! My name is Marshall and I’m an English teacher. I’ve taught English to many students who had various goals: Business English, Conversational English, preparation for CELA (Cambridge English Language Assessment).

I have a University degree in English, with over 6 years of experience in teaching English. I am an American native English speaker, teacher, and tutor. I can help students become proficient in the English language. I am available to help with any and all levels of English study including beginner, conversational, business, and fluent levels. I am also trained as a magazine editor.

I want to assist you in learning English. We will focus on what you need.

I am a native English speaker and a hard worker. I have a deep love for the community. I'm motivated to help you learn and improve. I appreciate how sharing in a new language expands our understanding of others. In teaching, I am always on the lookout for new ideas and situations towards a better world and better relationships. I’ve worked with teachers, activists, data scientists, designers, art directors, and engineers in collective cross-functional teams. I love to work alongside others to create solutions for the future.

I am an English teacher also trained in design and UX. Other than education, I specialize in data, design, and strategy driven by a dedication to beautiful and effective solutions. I’m committed to interdisciplinary and experimental practices. Since I moved back to Japan last year I have helped many colleagues and friends with language studies. I love finding new ways to help people learn.
