Learning to use English as foreign/second language

I specialize in tutoring English for foreign students between the ages 4 and 12. My goal is for the students to learn the basic grammar and phonics of English. During class we also practice general conversation.
I work step by step with the student's established level as a starting point. We only proceed to the next level once the student is confident with the preceding level.
To make the class fun I use various card, dice and grid games to practice the material. Some games include writing words or sentences.
For the older students I do creative writing practice according to their level.

My name is Iris and I am born and raised in Belgium. Currently I am in Taipei for business purposes. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching high school kids in various subjects such as maths, Dutch and general homework management. On top of that, I was the co-organiser of a public speaking club in Brussels.

What I offer in Taipei are English conversation classes. The emphasis will be on speaking, speaking a lot and as well about various topics that interest the student. I'd like to add a content level as well so we can discuss and challenge each other on different topics. On the way I will also assist in improving your public speaking skills.
