Learning to speak English can be more of a challenge than learning to read. English itself has many words that sound similar and mean completely different things. To make things more confusing, different countries, territories, cities and even neighborhoods can use slang, where a word that normally means one thing, means something completely different.
This class will take you through basic conversational English. You will learn the basics like a proper way to great someone, the proper responses to standard questions and the correct use of adjectives and pluralization. Most importantly you will learn what words you should avoid using, what is inappropriate casual conversation and why.
Once you have a grasp on the basics you will move into more advanced conversational English and explain what some of the variations of words are that can be used in conversation.
If you plan to travel or work in an industry where you will be judged on your command of the English language, this class is for you. If you want to learn for your own benefit and to open doors in the future, you will not be disappointed.
