Hello! I am a 25-year-old South Korean student in Paris. I am currently enrolled at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris learning Classical Piano and in the course of the "Diploma Superieur de Execution". I started the piano at the age of 5. I was born in a musical family; both of my parents being opera singers and my sister a violinist. When I was 8 years old, my family moved to Budapest, Hungary, where I started to have lessons privately with professors at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. In High-School, I enrolled at the Bartok Conservatory of Music in Budapest. I was awarded the Bachelors as well as the Master's Degree at the Franz Liszt Academy and have graduated with the Highest Honors in Piano Performance. I would like to share and teach what took me many years to learn in just a few months. I know that there are those who have and had difficulties like me learning the piano and feeling stuck or non-progressive, or not being able to improve. I have solutions to those problems. If you are one of those in need of quick and fast adjustments, please do not hesitate to contact me! I have a teaching experience of 6 years and all my students were those who needed assistance with international competitions, entrance exams, and general piano learning. Hello!
I am a South Korean, 25 years old student, currently learning the classical piano at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris under Francois Thinat and under Philippe Bianconi. I started the piano since I was 5 years old. I am from a musical family; both my parents are opera singers and my sister a violinist. Currently, I am trying to achieve my diploma of "Diploma Superieur de Execution" and the "Diploma Superieur de Concertiste" at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. I have several awards from International Competitions in Europe. My family moved to Budapest, Hungary, when I was 8 years old, where I started professionally learning the piano. Until Highschool, I had private lessons with famous professors at the Franz Liszt Academy and during my Highschool, I enrolled the Bartok Bela Conservatory of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I was awarded the Bachelors and Master's Degree at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary, with the Highest Honors of Piano Performance. During my Bachelors and Master's Degrees, I have had piano masterclasses with famous pianists such as Pavel Gililov, Boris Berman, Muza Rubackyte, Christopher Elton, Kocsis Zoltan, John Thwaites and so on. I have had numerous concerts in Budapest, London, Japan, Salzburg, Italy, and recently two concerts in Paris as well. I have 6 years of teaching experience, where I prepared students who were preparing for international competitions and entrance examinations of conservatories and universities.

Maarten will give you the piano lessons. He can teach classical, and jazz piano. He graduated his studies in the conservatory of Amsterdam with prof. Jan Wijn and graduated with the highest score among piano students (Bachelor of Music, piano). He played several solo and chamber music concerts in concert hall, church, museum, library, hospital and elderly houses. He is regularly invited by Belgium Chamber music festival to play with famous musicians such as guitarist philip Catherine. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts.

Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. Asako can teach the cello for all levels and ages. Especially She is enthusiastic about teaching.

Je suis localisé dans le 15ème arrondissement de PARIS, je me déplace dans Paris intramuros et dans les limites du métro.

Ma règle d'or « un morceau qui n'est pas apprécié par l'élève sera toujours bâclé » c'est pour cette raison que je met un point d'honneur à proposer à l'élève des pièces qu'il apprécie. Je n'impose jamais rien, je propose.

J'ai rédigé une méthode pour piano, établi une nouvelle pédagogie, et ma philosophie d'apprentissage qui a pu satisfaire un bon nombre d'élèves pendant plus de 3 ans d'expérience. Je suis un professeur très observateur, j'arrive en un coup d'oeil à trouver les éléments qui peuvent faire défaut dans un jeu ou un déchiffrage, et d'ensuite proposer des manières de corriger ces défauts.

J'ai pu échanger plusieurs fois avec des concertistes, des musiciens, des compositeurs, des acteurs du milieu de la musique au sujet du piano et de ma pédagogie. Des pianistes comme Simon Ghraichy ont pu remarquer mon sérieux et la qualité de mon enseignement.

Étant également compositeur, j'aime à rédiger moi même mes exercices, ce qui permet un apprentissage totalement individuel, unique à chaque élève.

Je suis apte à pouvoir accompagner un enfant, débutant, mais aussi une personne plus confirmée, je peux aider à la préparation d'un concours ou d'un récital.

Pianiste depuis plus de 15 ans, je suis diplômé du Conservatoire de Rennes. J'ai obtenu ma licence de musicologie à l'Université de Rennes 2 et je suis actuellement en Master Recherche en musicologie à La Sorbonne, (mon sujet de recherche se penche sur la presse musicale au XIXème siècle).

Je suis également compositeur, je compose pour plusieurs musiciens, des ensembles et des orchestres, je collabore également dans les sphères de la musique actuelle.
Enfin, je suis journaliste musical, j'ai fondé mon propre magazine cette année (Le Nouveau Ménestrel) et je rédige des articles autour du piano et sa pédagogie.

Learning music, is directly connected to the cognition system of our mind, and our cognition is the first step to perceiving the music, so it is essential to understand music and perform it.
I am proposing classes in Piano, Composition, and Music Theory and writings.
In the class of Piano depending on the student's wishes, we work on different methods, from learning music just as an activity to students who wish to continue their profession as a musician.
The class of composition has the same algorithm as the piano class, the method selection is based on the student's wishes.
Music Theory is proposed in both classes of composition and piano on the side but for the students who wish to learn music theory separately with more concentration, I offer this class as a separate class too.
Class of Harmony and Writing actually has the same situation as music theory classes but students in the course of composition will be more specialized in harmony and counterpoint than piano students and of course, this course is proposed as a separate class too.
