My name is Mark and I have a degree and PhD in Biology from Oxford University. I have been teaching biology at a leading international school in Europe for 10 years while also being head of the science department and training other teachers from around the world. I have tutored many students privately, helping them to significantly improve their grades and get onto top university/college courses.

I can teach all aspects of biology and general science from high school to university degree level. Lessons can be online, at a location of your choice or at my own home outside of Amsterdam.

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, why not learn it? I specialise in teaching Spanish to foreign students and adult learners. In addition, math and biology can be very complicated subjects and I would like to help other students understand them better.

If you need help with Mathematics or Physics at high school level or preparation for university if you wish to study Mechanical Engineering I am perfect for you. I can also help you figure out.if Engineering is what you want to do at university level. You can send me what chapters ineterst you and what you need help with and I will find the best way to explain it to you and find some good exercises for you to do. Suitable for A level, GCSE, IB or Dutch equivalents and pre bachelor Mechanical Engineering.

I like to focus on the conversational part and listening without disregarding the writing and reading skills.
I prefer to use slides, videos and images to understand the lesson.

I prefer to do 1-on-1 sessions with the student to develop a better understanding of how the student thinks and tackle any problems together. Whether it is a student that is failing and has to reinforce his/her motivation and fundamental understanding of the topic to develop skills to pass an exam, or a student who is doing well and seeks ways to push for better grades throughout any subject at school, I am happy to help with any problems there may be academically.

Regardless of your program, I won't help you with the technical side of things. You can get that guidance at university. I'll simply help you (re)discover your writing voice and finish your thesis.
