Hello! My name is Artejah, and I’m passionate about helping children discover that learning—especially math—can be fun, creative, and full of confidence-building moments. With over five years of experience working in the Orinda Union School District, I’ve supported students from TK through 5th grade, including those with diverse learning needs.

My teaching style is patient, engaging, and encouraging. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match each student’s pace, strengths, and curiosity. I often use hands-on examples, colorful visuals, and real-life scenarios to make math less intimidating and more meaningful.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Vous avez l’impression de tourner en rond en maths ? Vous voulez des notes qui progressent et une confiance retrouvée, pour vous ou votre enfant ? 👉 Vous êtes au bon endroit.

Je ne suis pas un professeur traditionnel, et c’est ce qui change tout. Ma méthode vient d’un enseignant de prépa qui a complètement changé ma manière de voir les maths. Ses cours ressemblaient à une discussion motivante, bienveillante, presque fraternelle. J’ai repris cette approche : séances vivantes, encouragements constants, rires, et zéro pression. Ma priorité : redonner confiance et transmettre des outils efficaces.

En seconde, on m’avait fait redoubler. Beaucoup pensaient que je ne réussirais jamais en maths. Avec ce mentor, j’ai pu me dépasser jusqu’à devenir ingénieur en Data science (ENSAI à Rennes). Alex avait perdu confiance après avoir enchaîné les 7/20 aux devoirs de maths. Les notions de statistiques et d’analyse lui semblaient abstraites, surtout avec les études de cas Excel/ R.
