Graag ontvang ik van te voren de stof of opdrachten die je lastig vindt, zodat ik de les zorgvuldig kan voorbereiden. Met behulp van een digitaal whiteboard leg ik de theorie kort en duidelijk uit. Daarna oefenen we samen met voorbeelden en opdrachten, waarbij ik je actief betrek en jou ook een aantal sommen laat maken. Door vragen te stellen check ik of je het echt begrijpt. Na afloop ontvang je een PDF met de aantekeningen, zodat je alles rustig kunt nakijken.

Met 20 jaar ervaring geef ik op een geduldige en gestructureerde manier bijles. Ik leg alles zo vaak uit totdat het écht helder is, en help je actief bij elke stap. Door mijn ervaring voor de klas, weet ik waar de meeste knelpunten bij leerlingen liggen. Van leerlingen kreeg ik laatst te horen na een les: 'eigenlijk is het makkelijk als je het begrijpt'. High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working.
