Hi, my name is Ed. I'm a Civil Engineer/Math Tutor from MD, USA, and a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. I worked as a private tutor for 6 years. I will assist in improving your overall understanding of math, problem-solving techniques, and academic performance. If you have anxiety from math, we'll work together until you are more comfortable with it and enjoy it.
The goal is to produce confident students that are able to solve problems on their own and take tests without anxiety. Assistance will be provided for hws, projects, and test prep. I can work online, at my location, and at the student's location.

I have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State and I would like to assist you in developing your math skills up to differential equations. I have a strong foundation of math skills (number knowledge, counting, computation, reasoning, math notation, reasoning in time and space, and computation). My tutoring experience began when I was a High School senior. I've worked as a private tutor with middle school and high school students both online and in person for 5 years. I have also worked with students that have learning disabilities. When meeting with my students my goal is to make them have an enjoyable learning experience. As much as I enjoy solving math problems. I would also like for my students to eventually start enjoying solving math problems. I don't put a lot of pressure on them as I expect them to not understand new concepts right away. Not all students learn at the same rate, so I let my students develop their understanding at their own pace. I let the students work alongside me when solving problems so they can get hands-on experience. I always had a passion for helping other students improve their knowledge and academic performance in math.
Education
I did my undergraduate at The Pennsylvania State University.
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation.
