I have been teaching violin at the largest music school in Bulgaria, “Rockschool”, for 14 years. I have extensive experience with beginner violinists of all ages. I graduated from the Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a degree in violin. Since 2007, I have been part of the Classic FM radio orchestra, with which we have played with the most current stars in classical music. Since 2008, I have been part of the Sofia Symphony Orchestra, with which we have played in the most prestigious halls in Europe.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.

I am adaptable and capable of teaching students with different personalities, whether they are highly energetic or more reserved. My primary goal is to instill a passion for music in the next generation, helping students not only grow as musicians but also as confident performers.

I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

We all have rhythm and sound as a core part of our body, from the heartbeat to the sound of breath, and formal training in music is only an expansion of what already exists in every person. The body of a musician requires as much detailed physical analysis and focus as that of an elite athlete; all of my lessons begin with physical warm-ups to support the specific musculature required in the development of each instrument. Joy and play are essential elements of successful learning at any age, and I make certain that students learn without a lot of undue stress and anxiety.
