I've recently finished my Music Education degree (perfect timing, right?) so I'm looking to fill my schedule with more students.

My main instrument is the guitar, classical variant, but I have a vast experience in acoustic guitar, mainly rock/grunge styles (although I am familiar with many genres).

I can also introduce you to bass guitar, drums, and piano/keyboards.

And of course, everyone's favourite, Music Theory! Reading sheet music, ear training, chord progressions, composition, you name it.

I am portuguese, but due to years of video gaming and book reading I'm perfectly fluent in english, so I can teach in both english and portuguese.

Hello,

My journey to get to music teaching has been quite unlike that of most of my colleagues. I've spent a number of years in a Civil Engineering course, all the while playing in garage bands, which ultimately led to my pursuit of a career in Music!
I love broadening people's horizons, showing them new things, for I too am a lover of knowledge.

I am here to help people with music and sound composition. To enlarge your ways of thinking and make your work faster and more effective. The techniques and theory I can gladly teach you too, of course.

I have a Master's Degree from Multimedia Composition at the Janáček Acadamy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. I have made music for several ensembles, theatre performances, dance performances, short time movies, sound effects/field recordings for videogames, having my alternative music production at the same time. I used to work in several theatres in live sound-engineering and for more than one year I was leading one of the best recording studios of our country as a sound and recording director (esp. jazz, classical music, experimental music).

Graduated in Guitar (Classical / Popular) by the Conservatório de Tatuí - Brazil, I have experience in Brazilian music and folk music, having worked as a teacher and interpreter in Brazil.

I offer guitar lessons online and face to face, with a special focus on Samba, Chôro, Bossa Nova, the traditional Brazilian MPB and variant genres.

Classes are aimed at people of all age groups without the need for prior knowledge. Will be approached in class the language of the genres with their rhythmic and historical specificities, studies of technique and musical theory.
Classes can be taught in English, Portuguese or Spanish.

My main goal in my lessons is to bring out the best from the student, valuing, appreciating and letting them see their strengths as well as working strategically and methodically to solve any obstacles we might find on the way. Positivism, efficient work and the love of music are the main components of the environment I aim to set as a teacher.

Professor with extensive international experience, graduated as a composer and arranger, master in aesthetic education with a specialty in language and musical teaching for conservatories, offers classes in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, electric bass, drums, harmony, musical language, musical appreciation, musical production, composition, arrangements and musical analysis.

Classes are offered for all levels, all ages and all musical styles.
