I am an experienced, friendly and enthusiastic teacher offering private tuition on both flute & piano as well as lessons in music theory to students of all abilities and ages. Whether you want specialist support to work towards the highest level and achieve great exam results, or just want to play for fun, I would love to help!

Giving children the opportunity to learn and engage with music is a high priority of mine. Whilst in Gothenburg I have been teaching at The English School and the International School of the Gothenburg Regions (ISGR), who cater for children who have relocated to Sweden from all over the world, giving me an invaluable insight into different cultures and ways of learning. I have found it incredibly rewarding to bring children together through the love of music, even when they have just arrived in a new country with little or no knowledge of the language. I strongly believe that every child can benefit greatly from access to music lessons and my ability to adapt and flexible personality ensure that I can tailor my lessons to suit each child’s needs.

my teaching integrates music theory with learning the instrument for beginners in order to give them a solid technical and theoretical base. for experienced pianists, the work will be focused on perfecting sound, technique and developing musical phrases in the major repertoire.

In Oud, we will focus on:

In oriental singing, we will learn:
