I am a Spanish cellist currently working in a professional orchestra. I have a Bachelor and a Master degree in cello performance earning the highest grades. My experience as a teacher includes private cello lessons to children and adults (in person as well as online) and teaching in an academy of music. I like to encourage every student and motivate them in a positive way, making the lessons fun and enjoyable whilst improving everyday.

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.

In Oud, we will focus on:

Musical Maqams: Deepen your understanding of Arabic Maqams and how to apply them to playing. Musical Notes: Learn to read and perform notes on the oud with skill.
