It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Katie, I am an 8-year experienced primary and preschool teacher, offering English lessons to children and adults. I am a native English speaker and also speak German at a C1 level and Spanish at an A2 level. For Children: English lessons for young children are taught through the play-based learning philosophy, where I support your child's English language development through their play. For older children, learning writing and reading in English will be woven into play or we will conduct guided writing lessons based on their areas of interest in hands-on activities. Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
