Je serais ravi de vous faire découvrir de nouveaux horizons, de vous enseigner comment jouer sans partitions vos chansons préférées et de créer la musique que vous aimez.

Les cours sont en français, anglais ou allemand.
La connaissance d'un instrument n'est pas nécessaire pour débuter la production de musique.

J'accumule mon expérience de pédagogue depuis 2012. J'ai vite remarqué que chaque élève a ses propres attentes et difficultés. J'en ai appris à analyser et à trouver des systèmes, des méthodes et des exercices pratiques adaptés à tous, quel que soit leur niveau.

J'ai enseigné de l'enfant naïf de 5 ans à la dame mature de 65 ans. En passant par l'adolescent de 13 ans qui ne se soucie pas de la pratique, l'étudiant curieux de 20 ans qui doit apprendre pour ses examens et le Père occupé de 40 ans qui travaille beaucoup la semaine et profite du week-end avec sa famille.

Il est important de comprendre ce que chacun d'entre eux veut, comprendre ses objectifs afin d'élaborer des stratégies. Certains d'entre eux préférerait jouer des chansons tirées de livres, d'autres apprendraient en écoutant et en regardant. Tandis que d'autres voudraient jouer des accords, accompagner leur chant, improviser leur propre musique.

Mais toujours, il y a deux idées principales que je garde à l'esprit :
«Libérer des notes» a toujours été l'une de mes priorités les plus importantes. Jouer et écouter de la musique commence vraiment quand on ne regarde plus les notes, c’est pourquoi je motive chaque élève à jouer par cœur et à prendre des initiatives pour développer sa créativité. L'important n'est pas à quel point ils jouent compliqué et difficile, mais à quel point ils peuvent s'exprimer facilement et librement.

Lorsqu'il s'agit de liberté et d'improvisation, de nombreux élèves ont tendance à le lier au Jazz même si cette musique est compliquée ou pas toujours intéressante pour les débutants. C'est mon deuxième point important, trouver le genre de musique adapté à chaque élève en fonction de ses goûts et de son niveau. La pop est la plupart du temps une excellente solution pour apprendre les bases d'Harmonie et jouer des mélodies connues.

I am an italian piano teacher with many years of experience. I encourage music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. I can teach both classical piano or modern (jazz/rock/pop) piano. I really enjoy sharing music knowledge with my students, I love working with very young children and with old beginners as well. BIO:
Silvio, born in 1986, is a pianist, composer and educator originally from Italy. He began studying classical piano at the age of eleven and went on to major in piano at the Conservatory of Lecce, graduating with full marks in 2005. After falling in love with jazz and improvisation when he was nineteen, he attended Lecce State Conservatory on a full jazz scholarship in 2011.
Silvio specializes in many styles of piano and has received numerous prizes at national piano competitions.
In addition to being a musician, Silvio has expertise in business. He graduated with first class honours (110/110 cum laude) in Economics and Finance from the University of Salento in 2013.
His album “Flowing” is the result of a prize in the music competition "Giuseppe Tricarico" (May 2016 - Gallipoli, Italy) which he won and which allowed him to produce this record. It was released in December 2018.
In September 2018 Silvio had the chance to lead workshops about jazz music in Santo Domingo at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, National Conservatory of Music and Academia de Música de Patricia Logroño.
In June 2019 he was one of the Top Prize winners at the International Online Quebec Music Competition (Montreal, Canada), where he played his own composition called “Latin Jazz Etude – Una Noche en el Barrio”, and in July 2019 he won the First Place at the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition (Summer Edition).
Since December 2018 he has been collaborating as sheet music arranger with a US-based website, the world's leading digital sheet music retailer.
Silvio is also a music teacher with many years of experience, whose students range in age from 5 to 60 plus. He encourages music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. In 2019 he attended music pedadogy courses at the Conservatory of Lecce.
Since 2014 he‘s been the vicepresident of the Music School and Association “Oda – Officina Degli Artisti” (Taurisano, Italy).

BIOGRAPHY:

Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

I always make sure all pupils enjoy their lessons giving a friendly and fun approach to them. Regardless of age and skill level I want my students to be able to enjoy their time practicing and playing. I can prepare students for all grades of the ABRSM or other boards exams and I complement the lessons with music theory and aural skills training when needed. I can also offer music theory lessons that being to complement music education, prepare for the ABRSM music theory exams or just to expand the knowledge in that area.
The approach for in-person and online tuition are quite similar. I effectively teach using both methods with great results in both. When online, I make sure they are of exceptional quality and the pupil gets the same results they would get in person. They are ideal if traveling is a limitation for the student or just want to take them from the comfort of their home using their own instrument.
If preferred, I can also give the lesson in Spanish.

Je m'appelle Andrea, j'ai récemment terminé mon Master d'Artiste en instruments à clavier à la Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Ma passion pour la musique m'a incité à postuler au Conservatoire Professionnel de Musique de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria pour le cours de Clavecin comme matière principale. En découvrant un univers historique et musical, j'ai décidé de poursuivre mes recherches théoriques et interprétatives en suivant le cursus de licence en instruments à clavier comprenant le piano, le clavecin et l'orgue. J'ai eu l'incroyable opportunité d'obtenir une bourse d'études et d'étudier au "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", en Italie. En travaillant avec des professeurs exceptionnels, j'ai pu élargir mes compétences linguistiques et mon appréciation culturelle de la diversité expressive de la musique pour clavier. J'ai découvert la magnifique variété entre de nombreux compositeurs de toute l'Europe et les caractéristiques et techniques distinctes qu'ils utilisaient pour improviser et embellir leurs pièces. Au cours de ce voyage artistique, j'ai vécu des expériences de performance extraordinaires en tant que soliste, notamment en jouant au Parlement de Bruxelles et à la National Gallery en Bosnie. Récemment, vivre à Londres m'a inspiré à participer à une grande variété de projets passionnants tels que jouer en tant qu'accompagnateur de clavier dans Opera Scenes et avec le Guildhall Baroque Orchestra au Milton Court Concert Hall.
