Voel je je onzeker wanneer je voor groepen moet spreken? Heb je het gevoel dat je meer plezier zou kunnen beleven aan het spreken voor groepen? Ben je bang dat de inhoud van wat je zegt verloren gaat?

Veel mensen vinden het behoorlijk lastig om voor groepen te spreken. Misschien heb je wel eens het advies gehoord 'beeld je in dat iedereen in zijn onderbroek zit', maar heeft dat niet geholpen (anders lees je deze tekst waarschijnlijk niet).
Misschien vind je public speaking helemaal niet zo lastig of eng, maar denk je dat je er nog veel meer uit kan halen.

Graag help ik je om een betere, meer ontspannen en open spreker te worden. De coaching is helemaal op jouw maat en behoeftes, maar we werken bijvoorbeeld aan het voorbereiden, analyseren en/of schrijven van een tekst, lichaamshouding en -taal, stemgebruik en inleving.

Ik ben opgeleid als actrice en zangeres, twee vakken die me heel veel bagage en inspiratie geven bij het coachen van publiek spreken. Ik heb meer dan 8 jaar ervaring als coach en docent.

Whether you need to speak in public for work or school, or just want to get rid of stage fright before giving that wedding speech, I can help you better yourself and gain confidence!
We work on different levels: analyzing and/or writing text, performing, body language and voice.
I have a strong background in singing and acting and have been working as a teacher, coach and director for over years.

Hi, I`m Sietse. I`m from the Netherlands and have been living in Belgium for over 10 years now.
Besides working as an actress, singer and theatremaker, I really enjoy teaching! I especially enjoy working as a personal coach together to reach you goals.
For me teaching is not a side-job beside my artistic carreer (nor it is the other way around) I always strife to combine the two, since, in my experience, they inspire each other immensly.
As a teacher I`m patient, friendly and I love to add some humor to the classes. However, I`m very ambitious and driven. Furthermore: creating a safe environment is fundamental.

Ik help je graag met het starten met schrijven en/of het verbeteren van je vaardigheden! Of je nu zoekt naar een coach die je begeleidt in en feedback geeft op blogs, columns, korte verhalen, fictie of non-fictie - ik stort me er graag op.

Zelf ben ik voornamelijk werkzaam als schrijver van theaterteksten, maar ik heb ook ervaring met het schrijven van liedteksten, literaire vertalingen, essays etc.. Alle teksten benader ik dus vanuit een creatieve insteek en artistieke visie. Als theaterauteur houd ik me ook bezig met hoe een tekst klinkt - klinkt het niet prettig, dan kan hij vast beter geschreven worden.

Als coach richt ik me vooral op het geven van feedback op de teksten die je schrijft en help ik je graag op weg met opdrachten om te beginnen met schrijven en/of om het gevreesde writersblock af te schudden. Vind je het fijner om meer stil te staan bij theorie rond het schrijven, dan help ik je daar natuurlijk ook graag bij.

As a writer (mainly playwriting, but also songs, columns, literary translations and essays) I'm very interested in helping you either to start writing, or to better your writing.
We'll work mostly by practicing and discussing your work. If you prefer to zoom in on theoretics, I'm happy to guide you in that as well.

I'm a professional playwriter and dramaturg (and studied at LUCA School of Arts with Nico Boon, Freek Mariën and Nathan Vecht). I previously taught playwriting in different groups (CREA, Buitenkunst) and work as a scriptadvisor for professional theatre makers. Besides that, I often help people in writing resumes, papers and thesis papers.

As a young engineering student who's studied and spoken English all his life, I have a complete grasp on math and english subjects that I use everyday. My goal is to help students who need an extra push to understand certain concepts, and to give them the tools required to succeed at school, or an added understanding of colloquial and scholarly English. The focus of my tutoring method is to allow the student to spend more time on a subject in order to become independent in their way of learning math, but also more confident in their manner of speaking English. These lessons will be tailored to each student, as I plan on doing complete research on the needs of every one in order to not waste time on things they already have a complete grasp of.

As a language, Arabic may seem scary, whether you hear two people speaking it with a bit of an aggressive tone, or see the terrifying Alphabet being used and written in a different direction! However! Fear not! I can assure you, i felt the same way about Dutch, and was terrified to try and articulate the words and their meanings. However, after a year of going through a successful active learning course (which our classes will follow a similiar method to), and enough practice, i could confidently say i can hold my grounds, with the fear of the Dutch language being at bay !

In my 2 years of teaching experience, without the "over-use" of "English or other" languages and starting right from the beginning with Arabic, some students and friends of mine were able to speak Arabic with me, in addition to writing full essays, and even understood the general grammatical structure of the language, all of which took no more than a couple of months.

However, it is necessary to keep in mind that Arabic is the second toughest language to learn after Chinese "Mandrin", meaning that expectations should be kept realistic, with time and practice being key.A year should suffice someone to be able to claim that they are at a "A1-B2" LEVEL, which is almost in the intermediate Zone.

For our classes, THREE TYPES or METHODS could be chosen from:
1- The active learning extensive Method
2- The "school" Method
3- The "specific university subject tutoring" Method.

1- For the first and second methods, i will usually devise a specialized text book (Word/PDF, no need to hurt trees and print...) which will include all that we need throughout the course from necessary readings, literature, and grammar of the language. this book will be modified accordingly to the purpose of learning the language that you could clarify to me beforehand (whether academic in a specific field of science, or any other purposes...)

2- However, if your goal is purely conversation, and does not include learning proper Arabic (Fusha), the method of teaching differs a little. Here only the "school method" applies. Let me elaborate: In schools, we are taught to read and write "MUM, DAD" before we learn our ABCs, Thus "conversation" will be the main focus, accompanied by brief and on the surface piecing of the principles of the grammar, punctuation, and other related aspects whenever a new one is at hand.

3-Finally, if you are studying any of the Arts or Majors in University, and you need specific help concerning Arabic Subjects (Ba. Master. PHD levels), specific short classes, through the third method, will be offered, and through which we can: answer all your question, explain anything that you are having trouble with, and specific help that could also be offered according to your needs.

Le français est une des langues primordiale à Bruxelles, savoir parler et écrire fait vivre la personne, sans ça, sans savoir parler et écrire, une partie de nous est morte (moin sociable, écart vis à vis d'un groupe etc...)
