If you dream of speaking one of the most melodious languages in the world, take the opportunity of trying some of my classes.
Italian is my mother tongue; I am a graduate of the University of Naples; I taught Italian in several language schools in Belgium.
I work in a very natural way, making the student able to speak simple sentences from the very first class. As a general rule I try to teach my classes in Italian, so that the student gets a very effective "full immersion" from the very beginning (support languages, like Dutch, English or French are used if absolutely necessary).
At the same time I pay attention to accuracy in pronunciation and grammar.
If the student is also interested in Italian literature, we start reading literary texts as soon as fluency in reading allows, according to the student's level and preferences.

I give Piano and music theory/ music writing (composition) classes in regions Brussels and Leuven.
I have studied in Italy (piano) and at Brussels Conservatoire (music writing).
I like sharing my artistic knowledge and experience with motivated students of all ages and varied backgrounds.
In my teaching method I try to focus on the strong points and qualities of student in order to build up technical skills which will help the student to overcome difficulties in a simple and natural way.
It is crucial for me to make the student able to express their personality in an autonomous and creative way.

Hello everybody! I am Michela, an Italian teacher and native speaker settled in Brussels right now. I decided to become a teacher a long time ago and I worked a lot for that. This is why I graduated in a M.A. in Italian as a second language and I passed several Teaching certifications (DILS and TEFL) to be sure I will be prepared enough to guarantee the best experience for my students. I also taught Italian to adults for one year and English in the Italian Public High School. I love my language and my country. I also love talking with other nationalities to share cultures and lifestyles. When I teach, I'd rather prefer a communicative approach, that means to focus on the communicative skills to let the student be able to start a conversation and use the language in real situations as soon as possible. This doesn't mean that the grammar is not taken into consideration, but it means that grammar will be learnt through the use of language in a deductive way and as something useful to understand the language, instead of being a top-down process.
