I have a Master's degree in Portuguese Language and Culture - Portuguese as a Foreign Language from the University of Lisbon. My academic background has enabled me to acquire teaching methods centered on conversation and communication (Communicative Method) which make the learning process easier, more motivating and more effective.
I also have a degree in Asian Studies from the University of Lisbon, which has allowed me to develop intercultural communication skills.
I currently teach private lessons in the Lagoa area and have been teaching Portuguese language and culture for the past 9 years in a multicultural environment. Previously, I worked as a teacher and school director in two specialized schools in Lisbon.
I'm a native Portuguese speaker, I'm used to teaching foreign students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and I have experience teaching online classes, private lessons and group classes.

I'm native portuguese and I hold a Master in Portuguese Language and Culture – Portuguese as a Foreign Language from Lisbon’s University. My academic training allowed me to acquire teaching methods focused on conversation and communication (Communicative Method) which turns the learning process easier, motivating and efficient.
I also hold a Bachelor on Asian Studies from Lisbon's University, which provided the possibility for me to develop intercultural communication competences.
I taught Portuguese language and culture for the past 8 years in private portuguese language schools in Lisbon, in a multicultural environment. I was also a school director for 3 years. I'm used to teach foreign students from diverse origins and cultures, and I'm experienced in teaching online lessons, private lessons and group lessons.
At the moment I'm based in Lagoa, Algarve. I'm looking for in person or online students.
