Violin lessons for all, from Zeeheldenkwartier The Hague ☺️
From 64 € /h
Hi all! My name is Anna Jane, and I am a violinist and teacher based in The Hague. My own musical journey began at age four in Florida with Suzuki training, progressed through classical studies and fiddle jams in Nashville, and culminated in baroque-specific training at The Juilliard School and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Throughout my years of studying and performing, teaching has been a constant and meaningful focus. Some of my teaching experience includes:
-Giving private lessons at community music schools like W.O. Smith and Upbeat NYC with a focus on music lesson accessibility
-Teaching group lessons at Oak Park Fiddle Camp
-Leading Kindermusik classes at Gracemusic The Hague
-Serving as adjunct faculty at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music
-Working as an Educational Outreach Ensemble Mentor and Young People’s Concerts performer while at The Juilliard School
-and more!
No matter where you are in your own musical path, I would love to work together! At every level, we will incorporate practice skills, technical ease and comfort, and creative expression and collaboration. I am happy to work from method books or to work from your own repertoire goals.

About Me
I am a member Holland Baroque and the Butter Quartet, a string quartet selected for the eeemerging+ professional development scheme for young European ensembles. Chamber collaborations have brought me to stages from the Concertgebouw Amsterdam to the Smithsonian Institute to the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht. I also perform with other internationally-acclaimed period instrument ensembles including Le Consort, Irish Baroque Orchestra, the English Baroque Soloists, The Orchestre de l'Opéra Royal Versailles, The Gabrieli Players, PRJCT Amsterdam, and the Luthers Bach Ensemble. In addition to performing and teaching, I enjoy exploring American old time music, knitting, and spending time in wild places

Sharing a love for music with students has been an integral part of my music career for over 15 years.
