I am a professional opera pianist and experienced Maestro Collaboratore at the Opera of Maribor, specialized in coaching singers in Opera, Lied and vocal repertoire. With many years of international experience in opera houses, conservatories and masterclasses, I help singers prepare their roles, arias and programs with confidence, musical precision and stylistic understanding.

My coaching focuses on:

Musical line, phrasing and style

Technical clarity and artistic expression

I adapt each session to the specific needs of every singer, offering a calm, supportive and highly professional working environment similar to an opera rehearsal studio. Über mich

Ich bin Opernpianistin und ausgebildete Korrepetitorin mit langjähriger Erfahrung im Opern-, Lied- und Konzertbereich. Derzeit arbeite ich als Maestro Collaboratore an der SNG Opera und Ballett Maribor, wo ich für musikalische Proben, Rezitative, Rollenarbeit und Probespiele des Opern- und Orchesterpersonals verantwortlich bin.

Ich habe in verschiedenen renommierten Institutionen gearbeitet, darunter:

– Orquesta Nacional de España (ONE) – Pianistin & Celesta
– Coro Nacional de España & Orfeó Català / Palau de la Música – Korrepetition & chorische Stimmbildung
– Salzburger Festspiele / Wiener Staatsoper (Chorproben) – musikalische Assistenz
– Centre Superior Fundació Conservatori Liceu, Barcelona – Hauptkorrepetitorin für Blas- und Streichinstrumente (6 Jahre)

Ich arbeite seit vielen Jahren mit Sängerinnen aller Stimmfächer: Opernsängerinnen, Studierenden, professionellen Ensembles und Kandidat*innen für Wettbewerbe, Aufnahmeprüfungen und Vorsingen.
Mein Unterricht ist klar strukturiert, geduldig, musikalisch präzise und immer auf die individuelle Stimme abgestimmt.

– Masterstudium in Fortgeschrittenen Künstlerischen Studien – Interpretation: Lied, Spanisches Lied und Katalanisches Lied (Victoria de los Ángeles), ESMUC Barcelona, 2022–2023.
– Spezialisierungsstudium Opernkorrepetition an der MUK – Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (Oper bei Kristin Okerlund, Lied bei Carolyn Hague), 2014.
– Höheres Studium Klavier am Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid (RCSMM) mit Auszeichnung, 2010.
– Mittlerer Abschluss in Querflöte und Klavier am Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Badalona, 2004.
– Klavier- und Solfeggiostudium an der Academia Marshall, Barcelona (Schule von Enrique Granados / Alicia de Larrocha); Meisterkurse u. a. bei Alicia de Larrocha.

Während des Studiums gewann ich mehrere nationale und internationale Klavierwettbewerbe (u. a. Antón García Abril, Jacinto Guerrero, Hazen, Intercentros).

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Seit 2023 Maestro collaboratore am SNG Opera Ballet Maribor (Staatsvertrag): musikalische Proben, Rezitative, Einstudierung von Rollen und Begleitung von Probespielen des Opern- und Orchesterpersonals.
– Regelmäßige Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, u. a. als Korrepetitorin für das Projekt “El Monstre al Laberint” und für Proben des Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu.
– Korrepetitorin des Cor Jove de l’Orfeó Català (Palau de la Música Catalana), 2019–2020.
– Sechs Jahre Hauptkorrepetitorin für Blas- und Streichinstrumente am Centre Superior Fundació Conservatori Liceu (Barcelona), 2016–2022.
– Maestro collaboratore im Opernstudio “Fabbrica” Young Artist Program, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, 2016.
– Korrepetitorin für den Wiener Staatsopernchor (Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor) bei den Salzburger Festspielen, 2015.
– Mehrjährige Tätigkeit für das Nationale Orchester und den Nationalchor Spaniens (OCNE / CNE) als Pianistin (Klavier–Celesta) und Korrepetitorin.
– Umfangreiche Erfahrung im Musiktheater (z. B. The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Sweeney Todd, Zarzuelas von Pablo Sorozábal usw.) sowie in zeitgenössischer Musik mit der Gruppe Neopercusión.

Diese Erfahrungen in Oper, Konzert, Chor und Musiktheater fließen direkt in mein Coaching ein: Ich kann Sänger*innen nicht nur musikalisch und stilistisch, sondern auch praktisch auf Proben- und Theaterrealität vorbereiten.

I am a cellist, composer and pianist from Chicago currently residing in Graz, Austria! I received my Bachelors in Cello and Composition in the USA from Indiana University and am currently pursuing my masters in Cello Konzertfach at Kunst Universität Graz. I have years of experience working as a private cello, piano and composition teacher. I am used teaching all levels, and have certification to teach string students as young as six years old from Indiana University's String Academy Program. In addition to teaching instrumental and composition lessons privately, I also have experience teaching music theory and aural skills as a graduate teaching assistant.

I adjust my teaching based on what you or your child would like to learn. From helping you learn to play a Bach cello suite, to Bohemian Rhapsody on piano, or get feedback and mentorship on your own compositions, I would be happy to play a part in your musical journey! :)
