¡Mi nombre es Juan y te ayudaré con este proyecto! Ofrezco clases privadas individuales o grupales y soy muy flexible con la ubicación y el tiempo.
Soy un hablante nativo de Colombia (el español más neutral según los expertos). Tengo una licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad de Derby, Reino Unido, y una Maestría en Psicología de la Universidad de Lovaina, Bélgica. Mi interés me llevó a centrarme en los aspectos lingüísticos de esta disciplina, por lo tanto, disfruto trabajar como tutor privado de idiomas. Mi experiencia es la enseñanza de inglés y español, y mis métodos de enseñanza siempre se adaptan a las necesidades del alumno. Disfruto enseñando lenguaje formal y académico, sin embargo, también tengo mucho éxito con los principiantes.
Mi esposa es mitad francesa y mitad británica, como resultado, esta situación trilingüe me ha permitido viajar mucho y conocer las diferencias culturales que se expresan a través del idioma. Además, la experiencia de enseñarle español personalmente a ella me ha proporcionado el conocimiento esencial que necesito para poder transmitir todos los diversos aspectos de esta lengua que generalmente son imposibles de alcanzar en los institutos de idiomas normales. Creo que es importante que el maestro domine el idioma nativo objetivo para tener éxito en la enseñanza de expresiones y modismos más complejos, así como para tener una experiencia de aprendizaje dinámica y rápida, pero efectiva. ¡Por lo tanto, podré enseñarte un alto nivel de este idioma, además de las diferencias entre el español hablado tanto en España como en toda América Latina a través de muchas actividades divertidas y atractivas!

My name is Juan, and I will be your Spanish teacher. I am a multilingual tutor with a master's degree in psychology and my interest in languages led me to focus on the cognitive aspects of language learning. In the past I have taught English, however, given that it is my native tongue, my expertise is teaching Spanish. Additionally, my teaching methods are always tailored to the needs of the pupil, who can be of all ages. I enjoy teaching formal and academic language, nevertheless, I am also very successful with beginners who need a basic understanding of the target language.
My wife is half French and half British, as a result, this trilingual situation has enabled me to travel a lot and to get to know cultural differences that are expressed through language. Moreover, the experience of teaching Spanish to her personally has provided me the essential knowledge I need to be able to transmit all the diverse aspects of this language that are usually impossible to reach in common language schools. I believe it is important that the teacher master both the target and the student's native language in order to succeed in the teaching of more complex expressions and idioms, as well as to have a dynamic and quick, but effective, learning experience.
