Most Dutch people speak English but if you go beyond Amsterdam or the tourist spots you might find people who don't. Maybe you'd like to be polite and exchange some words or have a chat in Dutch with the locals. I have been speaking Dutch for most of my adult life and can teach you how to get started or help you advance if you so desire. I prefer to teach at my home but this can be discussed.
